Topper's Pizza — Regent St. — Restaurant in Greater Sudbury

We just drove 9 -1/2 hours and stopped in Sudbury for the night. Toppers Pizza was the only thing open this late so we ordered a 10 Toppers and we were excited for it to arrive so we could have a good meal, eat and rest up for the night and hit the road again in the morning..

It arrived quite quickly and we didn't really think anything of it other than "awesome our food has arrived"...We took one bite and spit it out and realized the pizza was raw, the pizza dough wasn't even cooked at all! We tried calling back to get a new pizza but by that time it was closed and we ended up throwing out the entire Pizza and had to eat a bag of chips from our hotel lobby machine.

Myself working in the dining and hospitality industry for years, I feel like if you didn't have time to make your product properly then don't make it at all. I was appalled that you would send that quality to a customer full well knowing someone could get severely sick eating it and knowing the image you're setting for your customers!

That alone I would never eat at this establishment again or recommend it!

Good luck in the future but you for sure need to look at the quality, standards and pride of work in some of your current employees!

Whether you're cooking in fine dining, flipping burgers or cooking good ol' fashion pizza..pride in your work is everything...

Ordered 1 large Canadian, 1 large Veggie, 1 medium gluten free cauliflower Canadian pizza, 1 small cheese pizza

Canadian pizza was disappointing. Toppings are not distributed evenly and very light on the toppings. Not a lot of cheese on it too. Not made with pride, if you know what I mean. Look at the photos.

Veggie was good. Loads of toppings on this one. Much better pizza than the Canadian. This is what I expect from my pizza from Toppers.

For the gluten free option, they screwed up this pizza and made a deluxe instead of Canadian. I contacted the main phone number for corporate customer service. They offered to deliver a new pizza BUT the customer service agent said I had to give th pizza back. Thankfully the Sudbury delivery driver was nice enough to just let us keep the pizza.

Cheese pizza was very sad looking. More dough than cheese on this pizza. Refer to the picture again.

Toppers has been very inconsistent the past 2 times I got it. Disappointing since this used to be one of my favorite pizza places when initially moving to Sudbury. Ordered 2 large specialty pizzas and 2 orders of toppers sticks at a huge price tag through Skip the Dishes. Order arrived and we got 2 medium pepperoni pizzas and one order of sticks. I called Toppers and they said there was nothing they could or would do since we were not Toppers customers. I said that I’m looking at Toppers Pizza boxes and was holding a receipt from Toppers Pizza in my hand so how was I not a Toppers customer?? Toppers clearly managed to charge me for the right pizzas and take my money but to them I’m not a customer worth holding onto and said go deal with Skip.
