Visited the kingway location at 11:50pm July 21 2025. I tried to use dining room but it closed at 11pm. I decided to try the drive through although I was on my scooter. The girl greeted me and I asked if I could go through on a scooter and I got silence even after several hellos, I decided to leave, as I'm driving away the girl comes back on the speaker to inform me that won't serve me on a scooter and if I don't like it to call the police. I did nothing to be talked to like that, I even politely asked if it was OK and I got that rude response. I went to the window to ask what prompted the rudeness towards me and the blond girl with headphones was quite abrupt with me saying they were dealing with a drunk earlier and the thought I was him again and her manager told her to not serve me and did not offer a apology. I asked to speak to the manager and he told me the same story but at least apologized, while he was speaking to me the blond girl with headphones and another girl are standing behind him and laughing at me. So completely and utterly rude staff right in front of their manager. I don't have a problem with no scooter policy, that's why I asked, I do however have a issue with outrightly rude staff over the drive through speaker and to my face. With this being said, I understand that staff has to deal with rudeness sometimes, but when you don't know who's in the drivethrough and act rude you might get a surprise one day with a secret shopper or your bosses relative when you assume the person at the drive through is drunk and you are outright rude. I've had burgers that have been built with love and compassion exactly to the specifications requested.. but then I've also received a junior bacon cheeseburger without bacon... In the same order.
I would like to believe that this is a single or very few employees that do not have considerations for their job.
Disregarding that the food quality is consistently good customer service is generally phenomenal depends on the individual working the till.
Example the dive Thu first window employee didn't say a word to me when taking my payment. Some people don't care some people do but when you engage in a conversation and you speak to someone it's incredibly rude to completely ignore them when you're working in a customer service position such as fast food.
The managerial staff seems to be quite competent although there is one individual that I'm not a personal fan of due to their pushy verbatim on mask use and vaccinations but I will keep my personal quorals aside.
The one thing I would recommend is to cook the bacon just a little bit less so that when you bite into your sandwhich it doesn't break like glass.
I hope this gets seen by the managers and they can make their corrections where needed.

Iâm not lying when I say that all 3 times I ordered the wraps, I had 1 of 2 wraps contain a strand of dark brown/black hair, which Iâve had to pull out my mouth. I thought restaurant workers are obliged to wear hair nets, so how the hell can I be getting hair wrapped in my wrap EVERYTIME Iâve ordered in the past 3 weeks? Furthermore, the wraps were wrapped terribly everytime. Whoever does the wraps shouldnât be in the food industry if thatâs the quality of product they deem acceptable. Iâm sure a toddler could wrap better than what Iâve received lately.
Weâve let it slide two times, but tonight we decided weâre no longer going to be eating at this location due to lack of food handling/safety standards. Ensure your staff wear hair nets, and wear them properly. Human hair shouldnât be a part of my meal, let alone three times in a row. Again, I am NOT lying.
