Room was clean and staff friendly, BUT had heavy footfalls and objects being dropped directly above my room constantly for 6+ hours from a bit before 6pm to after 12:30 am when this review is being written. The lady at the front desk informed me that there was no other room I could be moved to, and so she called the room above me multiple times, then even went up there herself after 12am to talk to who ever it could be, but when she called my room said she heard nothing. The kicker? As she said that there were still the heavy footfalls right above me of what ever club footed T-Rex evidently booked the room above me. No follow up from the front desk when I informed her of this and she said she'd call them again. As I wrote this review the noise has continued and its currently 12:45am with who ever is there Stomping around and dropped what I can only assume is thier phone or tv remote on the floor right above my head. The hotel itself like I said is clean, pleasant and modern, but the absolute lack of sleep and inability to solve the issue of one or more noisy guests after calling/going down to the front desk to ask for help 3 times so far in the middle of the night makes it hard for me to recommend. Also seemingly the TV had nothing hooked up to any of the inputs, atleast none that were functioning. Attached is a photo at the time of writing this.

Clean. I can't emphasize this enough. For what is supposed to be a discount hotel chain for Wyndham they have outperformed "higher class" hotels. I would highly recommend a stay here is you are in the area. Areas to improve on would be getting some elevator maintenance done as they can be a bit clunky and bang around a bit during some normal operations. The shower in the one queen room looks really cool. As a result of not having a door or curtains as a slightly larger fellow I was slinging water everywhere which ment I was using towels for the floor instead of myself. Lastly not sure if this is a chain policy but the room was very cold on entry. We had to turn the heater on for a bit. The AC was at 17°C on entrance. 19°C would likely be sufficient and save on costs. These were very minor inconveniences. Staff were nice, breakfast was really good considering I wasn't expecting much above a room to stay in. I believe there is a BBQ you can request access too, there is a pool (very slippery walk slowly!!!) and a hot tub. There Is a gym, business center, and a small station to buy snacks. Overall well worth considering as an option when looking for a place to stay if cleanliness is a must for you stay.

Had an incident checking out of the microtel hotel in Sudbury. It was my 1 year old daughter, my significant other, our dog and myself checked out on January 31st, 2025 at 11am. I was at checkout desk alone while my significant other was bringing our stuff down, when he opened the room door there was a house keeper who saw the room before the boss and had no complaints?. While im checking out at front desk alone, paid debit and had no issues was about to get the receipt and the boss lady just sat there watching and had no issues. As soon as my significant other came out the elevator and I said something to him she saw, jumped up and said she needs to go check the room first. Then came back aggressively ACCUSING us of smoking in the room with our 1 year old daughter and I have a medical condition where my bronchials swell up with any scents let alone smoke!!. She claimed she opened the door with a cloud of smoke and that there was smoke in the air. She refused to show us proof and continued to accuse us. We are indigenous and we feel that this was racial discrimination especially as young adults. I, myself am a light skin native while my significant other is a dark brown skinned native. When she saw it was just me the boss lady was fine but as soon as she seen him that’s when she jumped and said she needs to go check the room. There was a small amount of weed in the room but NOTHING not even a vape was smoked in the room as we know it’s prohibited. This has been our regular place to stay and never had an issue. Extremely upsetting and disappointing. We DO NOT want to pay for a fee that...

It's sad when you see a good facility suffering from poor management. Whilst the facilities were fine, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were clearly not invested in the guest experience, and it didn't feel that welcoming. Check in was done without any sense of welcome, just a flat "ID and credit card, please". I wasn't expecting anyone to bust out singing "be our guest", but the staff seemed stressed and disengaged. While I didn't expect much from the free breakfast, I would have hoped that at 8:30 on a Sunday morning, with the hotel fairly full, that the person running the breakfast bar would have at least tried to stay on top of keeping the food stocked. Everything was pretty much gone - no juice, no coffee creamer or milk, a few slices of bread and a bagel were all that were available. It was clearly down to the dregs of everything. On checking out, said goodbye to the clerk (who was on the phone), and barely received a curt nod. We stay in Sudbury fairly often, and have tried pretty much all the hotels in this corner of town. I wasn't expecting 5 star service, but our last stay was at the Comfort Inn, and we found the staff friendlier and the breakfast fully stocked, even though the place was packed. Lots of choices in this part of town, all around the same price point. If you just want to crash and go, it's probably fine, but if you want to relax a bit or take advantage of the breakfast, I'd choose one...
