McDonald's — Restaurant in Greenwood

I have never seen such unprofessionalism from a manager from any establishment I have ever visited. She was so rude, and aggressive to a group of people who were so polite and considerate. We came in to get supper after being out at an event. One of my friends ordered a mcdouble dressed like a Mac and asked if she could get the 5$ combo. And got snapped at when she asked instead of a simple 'no, but we can do this instead' like a good manager should know. Then she said she'd get the Jr. Chicken combo instead and got barked at again. Then asked if she could get tomato and and got 'you know that an extra 40 cents right?!?' in an extremely angry, aggressive and rude way. And she then asked for mcchicken on her burger and got 'you know that's another 40 cents right?!' in the same tone. Then when she asked for a mcchicken sauce for her fries got 'I'll give you one and you're not getting any more unless you pay for them' in again the rudest tone with such aggression. To the point where one of my friends who suffers from social anxiety was extremely scared to order from her and one of the other employees brought her food to her in which she asked for a few mcchicken sauces and he looked terrified as he looked at her the entire time and handing two to my friend as quickly as possible.... Like good lord if you put that much fear into your staff that they're scared to give more than one sauce... You're doing things wrong. So I walk up and order and I get huffed at because my girlfriend and I ordered 5 or 6 small burgers. Two with extra mcchicken sauce on them and 1 dressed like a Mac. So when I asked for 1 single mcchicken sauce on the side I got a 30 second lecture on how I'm not supposed to get any sauce without fries Becwuse they know I'm putting them on my burger and I should have to pay for it. Then to top it all off. We go to leave and we want a carry out bag for a few burgers and a few pies one of my friends didn't eat. So one of us goes to get a bag and once she asked the manager of this McDonald's she turned about you grab a bag and mumbles under her breath 'Jesus christ' then basically throws it on the counter. On top of all this she was proceeded to joke with a customer behind us while we were ordering and ignoring the fact we even existed when she wasn't busy scolding us.

1. get you're in greenwood. It's a military base, and you do this more by the book. But you're in a service industry... Act like it and treat your customers with a bit more respect.
2. I pray to God you don't train your employees to act like that, or treat them like that.
3. me nor my friends will ever visit this McDonald's again, which to the giant corporate conglomerate is nothing. But to a company who is supposed to be one of the best to work for in Canada. To see staff scared to help a customer is just unacceptable.
4. I am mainly upset because if I ever saw my manager or reps speak to a customer like we were spoken to, I would be so appalled. I've never been treated with such disrespect at a restaurant of any kind. I may look like 'some young kid' but i pride myself in my work, ethics, and morals. And I would never act in a way that would deserve to be treated the way my friends and I were that day. In one word, I'd say...

We just used the drive thru and di a big breakfast order. Even though they had been closed for Christmas and seemed fairly busy this morning (The day after Boxing Day) They had our order of 8 Sausage Mcmuffins and 2 of the New Chicken & Egg breakfast wraps ready after only a short wait at the 3rd window. It was only 3 to 5 minutes parked there waiting🙂 The sausage McMuffins were on sale for $2.49 each today so even though it was a large order, it only came to $45 & change🤑 Not too bad for a Take-Out Breakfast for 4 Adults and our 130lb Amstaff🙂 Only one complaint.. I am sure there is supposed to be some sort of sauce on a McMuffin.. Mayo.. or ketchup.. or something🤔 there was no sauce of any kind on the sausage Mcmuffins.. the were still good but a bit dry. I am not a fan of the new chicken & egg breakfast wraps😕 They aren't terrible & some people might really like them.. for me though.. the chicken and egg alone with lettuce.. it seemed like it needed tomato or onion.. Maybe a tangier sauce or a sauce with a bit 🤔 I dunno.. it just seemed to be missing something.. even adding bacon would have helped.. but then again it would have needed tomatoes. Over all, it was a decent breakfast, a big order for a great price; 8 individual sausage Mcmuffins & 2 Chicken & egg breakfast wraps works out to about $11.50/ person & there was more than enough for the 4 of us and our Big Fur Baby.💜 Thanks...

Disappointed with the customer service I received. One of the managers ("B") was incredibly rude. I went inside the store to place my order to go and specifically asked for mayo packets in the bag as my family enjoys the extra fatty goodness when consuming an already incredibly unhealthy meal. When my meal was bagged, I peeked inside and saw two mayo packs to go along with 3 medium fries.. I politely asked for a few more mayo packs and was told by the manager ("B") that she would need to charge me for the extra as I was only allowed a couple free per order. I was surprised by the statement but agreed to the payment and pulled out my card only to have her huff and puff (McDonald's was busy) just to toss one more single pack of mayo in my bag to go. I didn't want to push it after that.. she could have convinced me that the world was about to end if another mayo packets entered a consumers bag uncharged.

It's ridiculous that such a minute request (especially as I was willing to pay) can irritate an individual as much as it did. She made sure I understood that she was doing me a favour by giving me these 3 free mayo packs as I was only to receive 2 per order..

Next time.. please return the same courtesy that I give to you. Be polite to your customers, you work in the service industry where a positive, friendly demeanor is a must! Cheer up, life's too short to be so miserable :) Tis...
