Booster Juice — Restaurant in Grimsby

I'll start this review off by saying, I wasn't disappointed with the product at all. The location was good, it was a clean environment and I didn't feel like there was an issue with any of that.

I ordered the Brazilian Thunder, it was good. Thick and very flavorful, added a Energy Booster Shot. It's a premium brand with a premium price, but I didn't feel as if I wasn't getting what I paid for. Would be interested in trying more flavors, but honestly this was my first time going there.

The bad part; When going somewhere I am not familiar, I usually try and get the staff to make suggestions on flavors or options they may enjoy themselves. Behind the counter was a tall slim blonde haired girl that made me feel as if I was there to waste her time, there was Zero customer service with this person. There was one person ahead of me, and she was very dismissive and abrupt with everything. While making the other customers juice, she asked if I've decided yet. To which I answered no, (because I had no idea what I was looking at). Normally I would wait until the staff had nothing else to do, and then ask about what is available. Given her short answers, wildly running back and forth putting the drink together and just simply wanting to get everyone out of the store as quickly as possible. I made my order, which was done quickly. But again, I felt as if I was somehow a burden on them. As I took my order, she quickly ran into the back room before I even got out the door.

Maybe this was an isolated incident? Possibly this is the one staff member that is this way? Possibly she was the only person in the building and there's a pipe leaking she had to manually hold with her hand. Who knows! All I can say is my experience there was not pleasant, and that is why I am giving this place such...

-EDIT- Once again I should’ve known better than to visit in a Saturday! The employee was far from pleasant. Visibly annoyed that I’d walk in at 8:05am. I was told it would be a minute and she then proceeded to bang things around for no reason. Another customer walked in and was also taken a back by the amount of clattering and banging. We both walked out.

Leaving this review stings a little. I hit up Booster Juice multiple times a weekdays on my way to work in the morning and the service is great. At this point I’m greeted by name and the staff person knows my order. But, Saturdays are a different experience all around. If you’re going to “open” at 8am please be ready to serve customers at that time. I waited close to 10min this morning while the staff member got things ready. I’m going to guess this wasn’t/isn’t their fault and it has to do with scheduling/budgeting hours. Needless to say I walked out...

I have been to this location multiple times and have always enjoyed my smoothies or fresh juice. How ever today February 14th at 2:30pm I went in with my girlfriend to get a couple of their heavenly horizon fresh juices and right away was met with a rude staff member(pretty sure it was the manager) after making my order I watched her cut up a hand full of apples and put every single one in the juicer with the stickers still on not to mention I never saw her wash them, that was about it for the juice maybe a slight taste of ginger but none of the other ingredients were added (lemon and pineapple) it wasn’t until I got home to drink it that I noticed I had just over paid for the equivalent of an apple juice box.
