I placed an order through your website at xxxx PM for pickup. I arrived at the store at xxxx PM, but my order was not ready. There was only one staff member visible, who was making pizzas and completely ignoring waiting customers. Several other customers were also waiting to pick up their orders or to place new ones.
After waiting several minutes without any acknowledgment, the staff member shouted from the kitchen, asking if I was picking up an order from SkipTheDishes. I informed him twice that I had ordered directly through the Pizza Pizza website. He then asked for my name three separate times, despite me clearly stating it each time. He finally told me my pizza was being prepared and asked me to wait longer.
While I waited an additional 5–7 minutes, I observed serious health and safety violations. The staff member was handling pizzas without wearing gloves, and there was no evidence of handwashing between orders. He was carelessly assembling pizzas without attention to hygiene, posing a serious risk of cross-contamination — an alarming concern especially for customers with dietary restrictions or allergies. Being a vegetarian, I found it unacceptable to witness such disregard for basic food safety practices.
When I finally received my order, the pizza was poorly prepared. The crust was extremely hard, the toppings were scattered carelessly, and the taste was so bad that I had to discard almost the entire XL pizza after just one slice. It was not only a waste of my time and money, but it also left me feeling unwell afterwards.
Adding to the frustration, I was not provided with a receipt for my order, which is against standard business practice. Overall, the experience reflected:
Zero customer service
Zero food safety and hygiene
Zero respect for customer time and money
This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any pizza establishment, including all my previous visits to Pizza Pizza locations.

Order 1) We both ordered GF pizza. My wife has to be VERY carefull of what she eats. No peppers of any kind + no tomato sauce. pizza 1 - GLUTEN FREE DOUGH, Dairy-Free Cheeze(extra charge), PESTO SAUCE (extra charge)(extra charge), Grilled Chicken (extra charge), Red Onions pizza 2 - GLUTEN FREE DOUGH, Chili Peppers, Mozzarella Cheese, HOME STYLE ITALIAN TOMATO SAUCE, Spicy Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Hot Banana Peppers. $33.31 I orderd chilli peppers on my pizza, but she got them on hers - and I didn't get any on mine. The crust was burnt and the sauce was skimpy.
Order 2) Why order a second time? .. I have no idea. This pizza was even worse! Burned to a crisp it was like a cracker crust. Read moreUpdate: June 30,2022 - went to this location out of desperation and the takeout was so old and gross looking. Additionally they dropped and used one of their tools on the ground and used it to remove pizzas from the oven. The person argued when the lady who was waiting for that pizza called him out on it.
March 2022 review -Pizza was not fresh tasting, and it made me sick after eating. It went in the trash . When I called the customer service to inform them, to ask them to make it right, they made no solution for me, even after calling twice. They hung up on me, and called me back only to put me on hold for over 10 minutes and disconnect the call again. They were impossible to understand and seem to be in India. I am a good customer for over 20 years but now you lost me because you didn’t make it right!
Update: they phoned me at 835 pm last night to follow up. For what reason, I don’t know because they refused to offer me any store credit or refund because I guess getting sick from your food doesn’t warrant their satisfaction guarantee to come into effect.
