Came this evening to pick up some dinner for myself and was extremely disappointed with the service I received today. I purchased a sub from a girl who said her name was "Jo," real name or not, I don't know, she was a tall girl. I've been to this location a couple times but as it's a little out of my way I don't come here often, but I've eaten many subs in my lifetime and never once have I had an experience like this evening. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I ordered a 12" cold cut combo, and when it came to adding my toppings, I picked the same thing that I always do. When it came time to add green peppers and onions, this girl put it on one piece at a time, starting with the green peppers. I politely asked if could please add some more, and again she maybe added like 4 individual pieces, I was fine with the amount of peppers so I asked her to please add some more onion, and again, just a couple pieces at a time maybe added like 4 or 5 individual pieces. I've never seen a sub made like this. Every single other subway I've been to, they take some in their hand and sprinkle it on until you're happy. I like a lot of onion on my sandwich, so again I asked if I could please have some more. She added another 5 pieces, again I wanted a little more so I asked nicely, can I please have a little more, she added like 3 pieces and then said I'm at my max. I laughed and said, "What do you mean? You're adding it on there one piece at a time" She said they are only supposed to add a certain amount of toppings per sub. I asked her, "So what, is there an extra charge or something for more onions?" And she said no, that they're supposed to stick to the recipe, and some items are more overpowering in flavor, so they are supposed to only put so much on it. I laughed again, and at this point, I was getting angry. I told her I was a paying customer and am wanting my sub the way I want it, and that is for me to determine how much of a topping I add on my own food, I am the one eating it not anyone else so that is not for anyone else to decide. I asked her if this is a policy that's instated by the owner to ration ingredients to their paying customers, and she said it was policy. She put a couple more pieces, acting irritated with me and just handed me my sub, no bag or anything. I am absolutely disgusted by that ridiculous "policy" and if this is put in place by the owner, you need to not be cheap and trying to save a couple dollars when your paying customers are asking for their subs to be made the way they like them. You will lose many customers this way. I have been to multiple different locations and NOT ONCE, have I ever heard this or experienced this before. I will never be back here and to others reading this; if you like a lot of a certain topping or your subs made the way you want them, this isn't the location for you. Go to literally any other location, and you will not experience that. Very terrible customer service. This isn't the way to run a business.
This Subway is disgusting! Its always dirty and disorganized. Yesterday I witnessed a lady order and pay for a salad and than was told " by the way we don't have any forks" the customer was visibly frustrated and when she asked for her money back the guy behind the counter popped open his til handed her the cash and didn't even apologize. He was wearing plastic gloves when he handed her the money and I witnessed him hand her the money and without changing his gloves went right back to making a Sub. I immediately walked out! A previous time I went into the location around 9:30pm and the young lady behind the counter shouted as I opened the door "I HAVE NO CHICKEN, OR STEAK AND HARDLY ANY BREAD" again I walked out! Maybe a Hello would be a good way to greet a customer? It is clear whomever owns this location inst interested in anything more than making whatever profits are made of the Subs.
