Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Guelph

All tables were very unclean, with crumbs and grease. Asked for a cloth to clean the table and staff came by to clean it - only partially removing the crumbs and barely the grease. No napkins available without asking for them so we could clean ourselves. Staff walked by 5 other very dirty tables on the way back to front counter, not stopping to clean one of them (even though it was dinner hour and many new guests were arriving to try to find a table!). Was willing to look past the table issue, but when we received our food, there were no napkins. Staff both looked at me like I had six heads when I asked for napkins, and hesitantly handed me just 4 single napkins - one for each member of my group. Again, was willing to look past this, as I hadn’t had Popeyes in quite some time and was excited for my food. Upon biting into the chicken, I felt a rubbery sensation and realized that the chicken was slightly undercooked and pink most of the way through. I was in a rush and unimpressed with the help I had received so far, and so I abandoned the meal. I can’t say what other Popeyes are like, but this specific establishment leaves a lot...

worse service I've ever had I ordered online at 8pm at 9pm I called to see if they got my prepaid online order. The extremely rude woman said yes we do and hung up. I called back said you didn't even ask me my address how do you know by my telephone number? She said what's the address I tell her she said yes we have it and hung up. At 10pm I called back still no food. She said were closed call back when we are open and hung up. I called back said I placed it online at 8pm you said you had the order at 9pm and I paid for it online! She said you never placed an order and hung up on me. I called back she hung up on me. I called just eats they called the resturant and reimbursed me my money. They also had the manager call and appologise to me. He too was rude insisting just eats messed up not them. I informed him his employee told prior she had my order and she was rude she even told me the last call to f off and hung up she should be fired. I will never order from this location again ever at all. Woodlawn rd location in guelph never a problem this one on harvard should be reported to Popeyes corporate...

A vaguely Louisiana-themed fast-food chicken and sides restaurant. I enjoy Popeye's as they do seem to try a little harder with the food than competitors. The sides are questionable; however, I say that about most fast-food side dishes which are typically insipid these days and served cold or lukewarm at best (to be fair, I rarely order sides at fast food places any longer for this reason). Things like onion rings are typically not prepared ahead of time so if you order those they are more likely to be hot. I find the chicken here to be highly decent and there is a nice variety of styles available---they always have a mild and spicy variant, and while the spicy isn't very spicy at all, it does have a bit of bite. I'll single out the ghost pepper wings here as they are excellent---definitely some spice to these but still very tasty...it's not just a mouthful of heat with no flavour. I go to Popeye's when I'm looking for fast chicken as it's quite good by modern fast food standards. Service at this location in particular is excellent. (My review is in the context of fast-food...
