This is the absolute worst Starbucks I've ever been to.
I ordered a brown sugar oat shaken espresso and and mango dragonfruit lemonade - both with light ice through the drive-thru.
The shaken espresso was received first and it didn't have light ice - not the end of the world, stuff happens. The window attendant said it was light ice and when I said it doesn't seem like it she got another employee who told me that it's not light ice, and that particular drink was unable to be made with light ice. Okay, cool no biggie, not the end of the world. I personally don't think that makes sense as I've had it with light ice at other locations, but oh well.
Then we received the mango dragonfruit lemonade and it had extra ice. I brought this to the window attendant's attention and she said again that it was light ice - the ice was almost to the bottom of the venti cup! I said that it wasn't light ice and she doubled down again saying she saw the drink being made with light ice and then walked away and a third employee came to the window and when I showed him, he admitted that it was not light ice and corrected the drink.
The window attendant apparently can't handle a simple error. The stickers on the drinks also specified light ice so she rang in the order correctly, but it was a simple error from whoever made the drinks and it's easily fixable - I don't even care for another drink, just dump some ice and top off with some lemonade or something. I don't think light ice is an outlandish request, my partner and I both like minimal ice in our drinks. Read moreOrdered on the mobile app today gave me an estimated wait time of 10 minutes. I arrive at the location to find that they’re very behind on mobile orders and that they were making drinks that were submitted 30 minutes before me at the time I arrived. They actually noted at one point that there was a wait time of 51 minutes for a drink through the mobile app.
Now if Starbucks management has the ability to turn off mobile ordering and update the stock of items.. you would think they would have the ability to modify the wait time. I would not have ordered had I have been an accurate wait time on the app. You could also see about 35 drinks sitting there of people who had just left and decided not to wait.
Mobile ordering should have been turned off way earlier in the day. It’s not practical to pre order and then have your customers wait 30+ minutes for a beverage while the drive thru and walk ins are getting serviced immediately.
Staff did a good job overall. Obviously it’s frustrating for the customers and it’s not entirely the staffs fault. Maybe this can be raised to head office or whoever manages the app.. the store should be given more control over wait times.

The baristas working are always irritated or just plain out rude. i bought a colour changing cup (it was broken when i tried it at home) so i went to exchange it it, the woman working sighed and went to check it if i was lying, and it was actually broken so she gave me a new cup but didn’t say anything to me. I live in the area and i used to come here often before i got sick of the horrible service. almost EVERY TIME i go inside the store to order it is a 20+minute wait! literally unbelievable and when i receive my drink they don’t even say anything to me. Every time i order a drink as well there is always room left in the top of the cup. they often forget my order when i go in the store. i waited 30 minutes for one shaken espresso drink and when she gave it to me she said she gave my drink to a drive thru order and then she made it wrong by accident. if you are in the area i just wouldn’t recommend coming here ever.
