Subway — Restaurant in Halifax

I work close to the Quinpool area that’s the only reason I choose to eat at this subway. There should be a sign at the start of the line that says “some assembly required”. The sandwiches which ... once you put them back together yourself and go wash your hands because of the mess still don’t taste bad. But upon telling the sandwhich “artist” which Sub I wanted I had to explain to the employee what actually went on the sub (not the veggies the very base of what the sandwhich is made with) Never getting the bread I actually wanted because they didn’t know what Italian Herbs and Cheese or Honey Oat were. So I got “regular” bread. The process of ordering has been painful already, then watching the employee throw veggies at it and bathe it in sauce was not a pretty sight. By the end of this “artists” work the employee couldn’t “fold” the sandwhich over (using a knife to push the veggies back in the middle of the sub while folding it over like every subway I have ever eatin’ at in my entire life does) the employee rolled it around in the parchment paper on the table untill half the veggies fell out and it was a tight , soggy cylinder. I almost walked out but was tight for time. Cherry on top was the amount of time it took this employee to ring in my meal and figuring out how to operate the till as I was paying half with a gift card and the other half with cash. Painful experience to watch knowing you’re paying for the mess of a sandwhich at the end. Re-train or hire new staff if I was the owner of this restaurant and saw how things were operated I would be embarrassed. Stay away from this location like...

Service is super hit or miss. Watch very carefully how they make your sub and speak up when they are rushing you or brushing you off. Got someone to get a sub for me there because I can't leave the house right now. It was a veggie sub. Found a big hunk of chopped meat in the wrapper. Also, despite him asking for them to put lettuce... there's pretty much none. It's like bread and sauce. Unfortunately, I recently had surgery and can't leave the house, so I couldn't go back and show them, otherwise...

Sloppy work here. Stuff was falling out of my relatively skimpy sandwich, it wasn't fully cut in half, and they didn't put a second layer of paper around it to help prevent stuff falling out when I was eating it. The "martial artist" who made it should probably work on his knife skills. Also the other employee gave me the wrong kind of cookies despite having asked me twice which...
