It would be nice when I say more than once that I have an egg allergy that they would listen! We have stopped going every order is wrong or missing something so check your orders!!! Even management who was to call me 3 times never returned my call. I should get a refund on food I can't eat. That includes sauces. Most contain Mayo which equals eggs! So when I say no egg and no sauce and am very clear about it being an allergy it should be taken seriously. The attitude at the dive through is just to speak to you as little as possible and to not give receipts. They don't pay attention to who's waiting in line and they have enough staff on, but no one at the tills. All good companies should know if there are allergens in their food and sauces or a very easy way for them to check. This is my life. I would have an anaphylactic reaction. That's not my idea of breakfast. I would go elsewhere where you will receive better service. I always check my food, but I shouldn't have to. And there is always something missing. A donut a drink made wrong... So they no longer get our business. When you can't follow up on a legitimate complaint from a customer who follows up 3 times, that says a lot about the management. And not having an easy to check ingredients list for sauces is just lazy. People have allergies and should be able to eat. And when we are explicit and repeat ourselves 2 times, there is no excuse. Someone is not reading or passing on the information. I know how the restaurant biz works and most places can tell you by memory or quickly check. The amount of mistakes and paid for food that's not in the bag with no receipt is like stolen money. Occasionally errors happen, but it's every time at this location. Read moreHow long does it take to repair torn apart bench seats? I've been a regular for little over a year and a half and ever since I started coming the seats have been torn and dirty and just keep getting worse?
On top of that, the tables rarely get cleaned so not only do customers have to sit on torn, dirty and uncomfortable seats they have to eat on dirty tables.
Same goes with the men's bathroom, it's almost always dirty with piss all over the floor around the urinal and even around the toilet, a broken garbage can that's constantly overflowing with garbage from a lack of proper cleaning.
Some of the staff (mostly the afternoon/evening staff) serve some customers with ignorant attitudes and speak about customers in other languages so the customers don't know what's being said about them which makes customers uncomfortable.
All of these issues have been ongoing issues for at least the last year and a half of me going there daily and when a person makes complaints they get threatened to be removed and trespassed by an employee who claims to be the store owner but doesn't want to identify themselves because they would rather tell customers to go somewhere else rather than provide proper customer service and customer satisfaction.
I'm sending a report to the government of Nova Scotia to have this store investigated as to why they allow the store to be constantly dirty and have employees who treat customers with ignorance.

Read moreFor at least 3 weeks one of 2 exit doors has been out of order as the glass has been smashed. This should have been fixed immediately as it is an emergency escape in the event of fire, or other disaster. Not addressing this contravenes the Fire Code. I feel certain if a Fire Inspector was aware of the situation, they would shut this establishment down. The restaurant itself is beyond dirty. It is positively unhygienic - torn upholstery that cannot be adequately sanitized, tables and floors are seldom cleaned and the mens bathroom is disgusting with overflowing garbage in a garbage bin that has had a broken door for as long as I have been coming here. The hand dryer has also been out of order as well and now the urinal is also out of order. When I have spoken to the manager I was told that all these issues will be "fixed" in a few months when "Head Office" is planning to cover half the cost of renovations, but to do them now would mean the restaurant would have to foot the bill. I very much doubt that a Health Inspector would allow these conditions to continue, nor would they accept the restaurant's excuse for why they aren't addressing these issues.
