Easily the best sushi I've had in the city, possibly the best sushi I've had outside of Japan. Everything we ordered tasted amazing. The flavors were delicate and complex, especially when it came to the rolls and aburi nigiri. The wasabi was good quality and I was looking forward to using it, but I wound up barely using it because the food was that good straight off the plate. The scallops specifically were indescribably good. Tender, fresh, and sweet. Everything we ordered was good, but the scallops were so above and beyond I think I'm going to dream about them. I'm in danger of winding up there for dinner multiple times a week. I'm already trying to decide when I can go back. Highly recommended. The other sushi offerings in Halifax are pretty mediocre, to the point that I thought I was falling out of love with sushi. Turns out I was just bored of low quality sushi. I'm in love again. 10/10, you won't be disappointed.

From the point of the real authenticJapanese view, it is not so close to true Japanese cuisine. Each dish had something off about it. Gyoza sauce was too sweet, almost no green onions on ramen and udon, ramen noodle was kind of similar to Buldak’s, tuna sashimi was low quality and formally frozen, soggy karaage shell, no ingredients but only protein in curry udon (the soup is different from Japanese curry udon, and weak tea… we went there after reading the reviews with high expectation. Food tasted good but if you know what true Japanese dishes are and how they are prepared, you might be disappointed. The staff were nice. Each drink including tea costs minimum of $3.

This Japanese restaurant serves up a delightful array of traditional and beautifully presented dishes. The sushi platters are a feast for the eyes, showcasing fresh, vibrant slices of salmon, tuna, and other seafood that taste as good as they look. Another standout is the seared beef tataki, which is perfectly seasoned and offers a melt-in-your-mouth texture that complements the sharpness of the accompanying onions. Each dish is carefully arranged, making dining here not just a meal but an experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
