DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!! Such a terrible place to order from, in the beginning they were nice and the food was great, we ordered from there a couple times. Then one day we ordered and were going to pay by debit card because we didnt have cash on hand. They showed up and there machine was broken. They told me they were going to be back in an hour which i was fine with and told them just to buzz or call my cell when they were on the way.I waited and waited thinking they would show up and they never did. All of a sudden almost a week later i get a call on my phone saying he was on the way for the payment for the food we ordered. I stated he must be kidding I waited hours for him to show up that night which he said he would and I dont have the money anymore. He then proceeded to tell me its a "family run business and he treats his customers like family and he was giving me a break". First of all i never asked for a break I had the money that night its not my fault his machine was broken. So after a couple months I figured I would give their place a chance again and ordered food tonight. After 45 minutes his son shows up and before even handing over the food or taking our payment he interrogates my boyfriend like he was the one that did something wrong.the owners son then proceeded to make a snarky comment and said "I hope you like your food". At that point we refused and food and walked away because we knew they spit in our food before delivering it. Talk about treating customers like family...yea right i sure hope they dont treat their family like crap. We then came upstairs and called to complain about the service and the owner was extremely rude and stated "dont f* with me".he also said he knew we were ordering all along and admitted that he did something to our food. If you know whats good for you, you will not order from this terrible place. Ive been in the customer service industry for 7 years and i have never been subjected to such terrible customer service and treatment for something this company made the decision to do. I hope you dont get treated as bad as we did and I will be posting this everywheres to make sure people know the truth...
Read moreWe heard about homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches .... And we HAD to check it out. Last night was our first visit to Triple A to get an ice cream sandwich so we could taste the experience ourselves.
Right from the moment we entered the store, every employee greeted us with a friendly "Welcome" and offered assistance. The store is filled with the wonderful aroma of freshly cooked pizza and garlic fingers and saw refrigerated cases full of individual cheesecakes, ice cream sandwiches, muffins, and more. This really is a corner store where you can get those few grocery items, supper, dessert and snacks in one spot!
We immediately found the ice cream Sandwiches and we're amazed at the variety available . .and the homemade chocolate chip cookie dough cookies we delicately thin, and JUST the PERFECT texture and structure for an ice cream sandwich. (I could easily buy just the cookies!) đŞ
I chose the Oreo ice cream sandwich and hubby chose peanut fudge crunch. Although we knew that we would like them, we were both amazed at how perfect it is.... perfectly delicate, tasty and the cookie is soft enough to bite into without ice cream squishing everywhere! We meant to take a photo, but once we opened them and took a bit, we were hooked and we're enjoying the flavour so much that we forgot to take a photo! đ˛
After we left and we're enjoying our frozen delight, we remarked how we were treated like and felt like family from our first step into the store. You can tell that this family truly enjoys providing delicious eats with friendly and personal service. That alone makes this store a "must eat here" designation!
Bottom line: This local, family owned corner store is highly recommended. It is perfectly located in the South End of Halifax, close to the universities and definitely worth the drive for those of us who live outside of the metro area! We will...

More than just a neighborhood stop, itâs the kind of place where you feel instantly at home, greeted by familiar smells and friendly faces.
The moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly baked pizza dough filled the air, promising something special. The pizza itself, topped generously with donair and shawarma, was a delightful surpriseâeach bite complemented by a rich garlic sauce that tied everything together. As I waited, the staff engaged me in easy conversation, sharing local tips and making the experience feel more like catching up with old friends than just a transaction.
The Greek salad was fresh, each ingredient crisp and flavorful, a perfect counterpoint to the hearty pizza. And as a final treat, an ice cream sandwich filled with moonmistâa local Nova Scotian flavorâoffered a taste of whimsy that made the meal complete. The rest of the store, with its well-stocked shelves and unassuming charm, is exactly what youâd want from a corner store: reliable, welcoming, and full of just what you need. Triple A Convenience is a true reflection of Halifaxâhumble, friendly, and...
