Alfredo's Place — Restaurant in Hamilton

The food was amazing. We ordered on a busy day so it took a little longer to get here but they took off the delivery fee (we told them they didn’t have to but they did anyways) the Panzerotti’s were absolutely HUGE and the dough tasted fresh and flaky. The Marinara sauce was clearly homemade n didn’t have that harsh acidic taste to it. It was seasoned to perfection n had a darker reddish colour n it was thick not runny. The bruschetta bread was also absolutely delicious. It wasn’t made on those cheap sub buns, it was made on a fresh Baguette type bread. My husband’s wings were HOT as promised. Some places just use the franks hot sauce but this place uses some kind of ghost pepper maybe. Again not a runny bright red sauce it was a dark Reddish colour with lots of flavour. All in all this was an amazing experience. I NEVER write reviews but this restaurant is just amazing and wonderful and the people were polite and patient. Me and my hubby can be a bit of a pain in the ass when we order food cause we never put our order together before we call. 😂 we call n ask questions n then place our order and the gentleman on the phone was very patient and polite. This is more then a 5 star rating. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Such a great experience and we will be ordering again. We just never see service and food like this now a days. My wife and I went there today for dinner and dined in. If I could give this more stars I would. We started with the deep fried meatballs. They were excellent. We then ordered a small panzerotti with onion, meatballs and pepperoni to share. The panzerotti was delicious. The dough was perfectly cooked. Nice and thin and crispy so that your panzerotti is not just a big slab of dough like most places. You can tell this dough is made fresh daily. The inside of the panzerotti was full of our toppings. No skimping here. We also ordered the lasagna. This was by far the best lasagna I've ever eaten. Authentic Italian lasagna, like my mom makes. The kicker to all 3 dishes was the sauce. Again, you can tell this sauce is made fresh every day. Good authentic Italian food is done with few ingredients and fresh ingredients. This is 100% the case here at Alfredos. Simple food done right with fresh good ingredients. Please do yourself a favor and try this place out if your looking for great Italian food. The people behind the counter are the best. Submitted our order on Saturday around 4pm for a 530pm pick up Ordered 1 small panzerotti with cheese, bacon and pepperoni, and green pepper), deep fried meatballs, cheese ravioli, and a bloomin’ onion We decided on Alfredo’s because of the posts of the ginormous panzerottis we have seen online. Are they actually as big in person as the pictures show? Well, the answer is YES. We ordered two small and they were huge. Dough was good and ingredients were fresh. The onion stayed crispy, it was nice to have a carnival type food at home. The fried meatballs were well seasoned and a great bite. To be honest, the hype is real about Alfredo’s. Everything is good. Everything is filling. And we had plenty for the next day. But for us, it was the ravioli and the sauce that was the best part of the meal. The pasta and sauce were delicate and fresh and soft and the pasta wasn’t too thick and this is a run on sentence because it was that good. We used the sauce on everything.
