Boardwalk Burgers - Hamilton — Restaurant in Hamilton

I recently ordered from Boardwalk Burgers through Skip the Dishes, and I must say it was an incredibly disappointing experience. I had clearly requested a substitution of beef patties for veggie patties in the comments section of my order. Unfortunately, instead of contacting me to inform me of their inability to fulfill the request, they simply proceeded with the order as is. When the delivery arrived, I was shocked to find that I had been given beef burgers instead. I wouldn't normally expect a substitution to be available however I have eaten at a different location who was happy to make the substitution. It is unacceptable that a restaurant would disregard specific instructions and fail to provide suitable alternatives or cancel the order when they couldn't meet the requirements. This entire experience has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated with Boardwalk Burgers. It is evident that they lack the professionalism and customer-centric approach that one expects from a reputable establishment. Additionally, their partnership with Skip the Dishes does not excuse their poor service and lack of accountability. I urge others to be cautious when considering ordering from this establishment, as it is clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them.

I sincerely hope that Boardwalk Burgers takes this feedback to heart and makes significant improvements to their operations and customer service. Until then, I will be actively discouraging others from supporting...

Heard about this place online. It's a new place so not a lot of reviews yet, but we gave it a shot. My wife and I are foodies and have had plenty of burgers in plenty of places, in Hamilton and outside the city. This place is ok. It's not horrible by any means, but not great. My wife had the classic cheeseburger with fries and I had the BBQ bacon with cheese combo with chili cheese fries. The fries were fine, but nothing spectacular. My chili fries didn't have much chili on them. Mostly cheese sauce. The burger was tasteless in my opinion. If it wasn't for the BBQ sauce, it would have had no taste at all. My wife said the same. The shakes we had were the best part of our meal. So $50 for 2 decent shakes is disappointing. There are better burger places in the city. I hope they improve. May give it another shot in...

We were really excited to try their fries after all the hype of bringing the boardwalk feel to the city. We were expecting fresh cut really nice fries but were disappointed with what we got. Their prices for fries are also insane. For a large fries it is almost $7 and the portion you get is quite small for the price and the fact that it’s just fries.

The fries were dry and just not as advertised online. I also got a sriracha burger with a beyond patty and they had no option to switch the patty so I instead had to order a beyond burger with the sriracha toppings added (except the cheese on the sriracha burger because they didn’t mention it until after I paid and then explained it would be an added fee).

Experience was average and it’s at the bottom of my list of places...
