In the photograph is the large mango/chicken burrito with extra chicken that tonight's crew painstakingly assembled for me. It took two tortillas, even though it was already a large. Proud to say in spite of their best efforts, I demolished this monster in 23 minutes (breakfast is the most important meal of the day!), and enjoyed every bite, as I enjoy literally everything I've ever ordered from this establishment. My only regret is that I forgot to ask if they could throw half a lime in it as well. Suggestion: my girlfriend is one o' them vegan citizens, and she'd be super-stoked if y'all offered a jackfruit filling option. I know you already stock a lot so it could be a tight squeeze, but here are some compelling reasons: one, jackfruit is delicious. Two, if you cut it with a jackknife, you'll get jackception. Three, in an emergency, you can pick up a whole jackfruit and fling it at your enemies. Four, jackfruit is my favourite animal. But enough about what you don't offer - you list 7.5 filling options on your menu, not counting combinations, in two sizes of burrito, plus quesadillas and a variety of drinks. And the bowl / naked burrito option, of course. Anyway, now I have to walk home. That burrito weighed about as much as a cat, so it should only take me five hours to drag myself back instead of fifteen minutes. Thank you for fulfilling your mandate perfectly. Next challenge: I must consume the double-filling burrito (not just extra) in the same...
Read morePossibly found our new go-to burrito place? When you order a huge burrito- be prepared that it really is going to be huge. Expected what most burrito places do where if you don’t get the largest size you’re practically getting snack size and are left wanting more. It was a LOT of food. Couldn’t finish the last few bites, which was really sad. (Should’ve weighed it to get the actual amount but it was bigggg) Super tasty. All the toppings you need. Guaq is not extra to the looks of it either. We’ll prepared and the service was nice as well! Only gripe: I ordered the spicy pulled pork, and although very spicy when paired with medium hot sauce (nose running and tears fallingly-so) the pulled pork was a little dry in my opinion, but not enough for me to not want to go back. Next time I might try the chicken and steak or something. My husband ordered basa fish and when I tried a bite it was delicious- so this small negative does not at all offset the overall rating. Maybe I’d do 4.5 stars? But regardless. Still very good.
Also the Mexican fries are great because they put seasonings on them. We were worried they’d be just fries. They were not. Served with sour cream. chefs kiss very good.
Hefty portion sizes, good service, enough options to customize to your taste, fries did...
Read moreLast summer I bought so many burritos here that I was basically covering the cost for rent… lol. Sadly the frequency of my visits has drastically decreased for a couple of reasons. Reason1: When i order a burrito, I request medium spice; a couple of “dots” worth of hot sauce. It is very important for employees to SPREAD these dots of hot sauce throughout the burrito — this can be accomplished by simply running your finger up and down the burrito until the sauce is evenly spread. I have had one too many burritos here where I take a bite and I have a mouthful of concentrated hot sauce. This is very important and it should be common knowledge to all employees to thoroughly spread the hot sauce in the burrito. So after enduring a couple of these uncomfortably concentrated spicy burritos, I just stopped getting hot sauce completely… but on my next visit, the rice mixture was overly salted! I can handle overly-spicy, but the rice was so overpowering and salty that I could not even finish my burrito. This is unfortunate because I come here for dinner to “treat myself”. My favourite burrito here is the HUGE shrimp burrito with some mango and it is the best burrito I’ve ever had. I really hope that the employees become more consistent with spreading the hot sauce and...
