Diner on Concession — Restaurant in Hamilton

Honestly, the food is slightly above average, but not great. The experience I had actually demanded a 1 star review. We went in today and I’m sure many others who were eating there can agree, the communion party that was happening in the back room was out of control. Kids and grown adults flying through the restaurant yelling and screaming while employees were telling them that it’s okay and to keep going. I talked to many other first time guests after I finished eating and they agreed that it was ridiculous and unacceptable. I came in with my girlfriend to try out the restaurant, as we live around the corner with our family of 8. And we aren’t sure if we’ll be back. I understand it’s not the restaurants fault. But if you are going to throw an out of control party… close the restaurant. Or gate off the party, or have a separate entrance. I can't say enough good things about this diner on Concession. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and a welcoming vibe that instantly made us feel at home. The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes – it’s hard to find value like this anywhere else.

We came for breakfast, and it was absolutely fantastic. Everything was cooked to perfection, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.

Our waitress was amazing – attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. She truly made our experience even better.

We went for breakfast, you get alot of food your money, which is great because you want to be full leaving. The pancakes are huge but they put way to many chocolate chips in it that's all you could taste. I would say they need more options because, alot of people can't eat 3 giant pancakes and the other option of 2 pancakes had eggs and other stuff with it. And have the syrup at the tables not in the little dip container, that way people can put what they want on it. They charge to much for juice that most people will settle with tap water.
