I worked in the building & went there almost EVERY day it's so good!!! You can't beat the fattoush salad; you'll get a cpl-few rounds out of it. I get falafel wraps all over, theirs is thee best tasting, best price. The staff are very together despite being, often, busy & super friendly so you better be nice to them! Their soups are so comforting come fall/winter... mainly mushroom & lentil, but hoping for more broccoli! ;) I work in the hospital now, closer to Victoria St side & visited La L. Express where I spent 3+ more dollars on a rather bland falalfel wrap that had hot sauce on it... I am done spending money on "meh" food! Brown bag or Go Tango! My new "go to" for fresh, yummy food. The morning "Tango Bagel" is a lighter, tastier version of bagel w/cream cheese - adding the veggies and herbs / oil makes all the difference! With my favourite lunch only $6.49 I can actually afford to go twice / week or even more! The owner is lovely and even during the inevitable lunch crush (1200-1230) he stays cheerful and works hard to keep it straight and serve it up. Very minor delays of up to 10 minutes happen rarely but the food is ALWAYS worth the wait! I used to love this place, but my fattoush salad did not taste as good as usual. Also, the female owner who took over seems to treat the women poorly who work there. I also felt treated poorly. I asked for my salad to eat-in several times, but she would not put the salad on a plate. Then I asked if she could please leave the container open so the pita chips don’t get soggy, she said no because the chicken will get cold. I brought my salad to sit in a booth there, opened the container and then stepped out to take a phone call for 1 min. When I came back in, she had closed the salad container on me! It was so weird.
