Hero Tea Hamilton — Restaurant in Hamilton

As a long time Hero Tea fan, this opening in Hamilton feels like the universe finally answering my prayers. Before, the closest Hero Tea was in Mississauga and since I don’t drive, every drink meant multiple bus rides, GO Train transfers, and a dramatic journey home while trying not to spill boba everywhere. Friends called me “crazy” for traveling that far just for tea but they clearly have never tasted true happiness. For me, that happiness has a name: Watermelon Delight. The moment that bright pink drink hits my hand, life is instantly better. Fresh, juicy, perfectly balanced, it’s like summer in a cup, but somehow even better. The pearls are always the perfect chew, the tea base is spot on, and the flavor makes you forget every bad day you’ve ever had. Now, I don’t have to plan a half-day trip for my favorite drink. I can just stroll over, grab my Watermelon Delight, and watch the world instantly feel brighter. The staff here are so friendly, the shop is clean and welcoming, and every sip reminds me why I fell in love with Hero Tea in the first place. I placed a pickup order on Uber, and when I went to get it, the two girls working there were really cold and indifferent. I was polite and respectful the whole time, and it wasn’t even during a busy rush. But they didn’t give me even the most basic greetings when I walked in or left, while other customers ordering in person did get them.
