Where do I begin? This place is a disgrace to the KFC brand. I can’t tell which is worse, the non-existent customer service? The poor communication and inability by staff to speak and understand clearly in the English language. The food quality that borders on criminal negligence or the list of food safety and health violations. Oh and let’s not forget the army of review spammers giving this place 5 stars that are not even in Canada.
Started at the drive-thru where staff couldn’t understand my order despite clearly communicating it in English. She too had difficulty in communicating and when I calmly asked her to repeat herself, she grew frustrated with me. She was then taken over my her manager who rudely communicated what she was trying to say. That left a bad taste in my mouth but I apologized (even though I shouldn’t have) and restated my order again. I then pull up to the window where I waited no less than 17 minutes to receive my order and when I did receive it, it was, of course, not what I ordered. No problem, I thought, I’ll simply walk inside and kindly ask them to fix it. I walk into the restaurant and was hit by the foul smell of unchanged oil and sticky floors that stuck to the bottom of my shoes with every step I made. The manager then refused to fix the order stating that what he gave me was what I ordered. Of course I could have shown him the receipt to prove that he was wrong, but alas, I was never given one. The food I was given could not be eaten anyways due to the disgusting state it was in having been cooked in spoiled oil. Lesson learned.
My advice to those with similar experiences is make a complaint to City of Hamilton Public Health at (905) 546-3570 or publichealth@hamilton.ca.

Ordered 14pcs chicken from this store online on Nov 2nd. The scheduled delivery time was 7.42pm. Food never came. We waited till 8pm. Still no luck. Decided to call the store to see what is going on. Nobody answers the call and in the end it says "Enter your remote access code" and the call cuts off. Called 4-5 times, but same thing happens. Then I called the toll free number mentioned in the order email. That was another joke. The person who took the call took the order derails and said she will transfer to the store. Still same thing as above happened. Called the toll free number again and the person said will transfer the call. I told her that there is no point as the call won't get answered. Then she said they can't do anything and hung thr call. Seriously.... what is the toll free for then. They should either shutdown this line or give the staff proper training. Remember I paid in full, paid for delivery charge and paid courier tip as well and this is what I am getting as a customer.
Finally the food arrived by 8 30pm. Couldn't talk to the courier, as he left the food at the porch and left. The horror story doesn't end here. The food we got was cold and it had a burnt smell and taste. The pieces were all small too. There is no way I can contact the store as no one takes the call. If this is what I get after paying 50 over dollars, then it's a scam.
Please avoid this restaurant at any cost and if possible KFC as a whole. Horrible experience

Had bad experiences with zinger sandwiches in the past as well there. Asked to hold the mayo, and they add the mayo. It is not rocket science! Ever since this new management took over at this location (seems from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, you know…) this location has gone downhill, which is too bad as the previous management was very good and blows this poor excuse of staff away. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this location! The location on Parkdale Ave. is much better and worth the few extra minutes drive. Hopefully KFC upper management will realize from all the negative reviews that this caravan serving on Queenston Rd. is taking the brand into the ground with their lack of: proper service, communication breakdown of orders, and poor quality taste of the food they prepare, therefore please show them all the door, and get some quality store management and serving staff back as this area of Stoney Creek deserves much better. They discontinued the KFC from the location further west on Queenston Rd near Canadian Tire a few years ago which is also too bad, especially now with this terrible location further east on Queenston Rd across from Fortinos, as it would have given the customer another choice of...
