Aside from the fact that the food here is more often times than not below average. This location of McDonald’s is just plain bad and arguably criminal. I’ve seen an employee hanging out the drive-through window trying to get the attention of the car ahead / mumbling to themselves about how stupid the customer is because they went to the wrong window in front of me. Which honestly I wouldn’t think twice about on a normal day but every experience here is just bad and that’s the norm here. They’ve messed up simple orders of mine more than once, I’ve sat in the drive through for nearly 15-20 minutes once, etc. Most noteworthy of all is the fact that they will up-charge your drink size in a value meal from a small to a medium for quite literally no reason. The first time I thought it was an accident so gave them the benefit of the doubt, second and third time I realized it’s intentional. Especially when I’ve specified the error to them and said small drink - only for them to disregard it. The manager said their system automatically does it. This is the only McDonald’s I’ve experienced this at. Im not normally the type to flip out on workers but wow everything at this McDonald’s is terrible and I recommend saving yourself the agony and going to another one or a different chain entirely. I’ve also contacted McDonald’s about this and haven’t heard back from them. Which isn’t surprising because the last time (a few weeks ago) that I contacted McDonald’s was to inquire about a price difference on the app that was questionable. The same 10pc chicken McNugget value meal at the same location (this one) on my partner’s phone/app was $9, on mine it was $10.50. They responded once deflecting and and when I followed up asking for clarification I received no response. Definitely questionable and corrupt if you ask me. Anywho, save yourself the trouble. Go somewhere else where you aren’t paying $15+ for a mediocre at best...
Read moreFor starters I would rate this specific location 4.5 stars but we don't have that option so 4 stars it is, as well this review is specifically for this location and not all Mc Donald's. For starters the workers at this location are very unprofessional, I don't expect them to act like business people but, they should be at least a bit professional. An example of this was when I went to buy 8 ice cream sundaes, I live in a big house hold and in the house there are a total of 8 people (5 kids 3 adults) and one of the workers kept asking us over and over again if we wanted 8 she even said "8 as in 4+4" . I understand it's probably shocking when someone orders a lot of one thing but it's still rude, they only needed to ask us once if we wanted 8 but they continued to ask us over and over again even after we told them multiple times already that 8 is what we want. Another issue with this location is that they never ask the questions they are supposed to ask. Let's use the ice cream sundaes again as an example, if you get the caramel ice cream sundae they are supposed to ask you if you want peanuts with it. Every other location I've been to does expect this location and this has happened more than once. This isn't the only instance but it's the one I remember the most. These are just some examples from my last trip however these problems occur a lot and with other food items, in all honesty there is nothing really wrong with this locations and the food. The issue is the workers, the workers are very unprofessional and never ask the questions they are supposed to ask however aside from that I have no other...
Read moreBIG MAC NO MEAT is a menu item on every McDonald’s in the area (Hamilton’s) Menu , I see it in the self order kiosk and I see it on my app , I have an allergy to meat , my body cannot digest a certain protein because I lack certain enzymes to break them down. I have a severe allergic reaction to red meat , seafood and poultry.
I went to this McDonald’s on Sunday afternoon around 3 pm inside the restaurant and thought I’d support ordering at the cashier instead of the kiosks , I told the red haired skinny Caucasian girl with glasses I wanted a Big Mac no meat meal with large fries and a coke , the girl gave me a cringe and disgusted look and said to me “ BIG MAC NO MEAT ?! YOU SURE YOU WANNA ORDER THAT ? “ she said it like she had never heard that before and that I had asked her for something outlandish .
There’s people that don’t eat meat out there big surprise grow up it’s 2023 , I shouldn’t be getting judgmental looks and be asked sarcastic rhetorical questions when I’m trying to order something on YOUR MENU.
I had to refuse the order after that , she ruined my whole day after that to the point that I’m still thinking about it right now the next day after.
This is why kiosks and self checkouts are taking over
