Paros Greek Food — Restaurant in Hamilton

Wow. It sucks the customer service is so flippin' terrible here bc the food isnt half bad. Its the only greek takeout place closest to us but we will not be returning and ensure all of our friends are aware of this.

I have 3 men helping on my property today and we all decided to have greek food for lunch since my husband and I enjoyed this place's food twice so far. I picked up groceries from across the plaza and walked inside to make my order, which I was told would take 20mins. I sat in that place for 33mins total, which is ridiculous since they only had TWO OTHER CUSTOMERS order while i waited. Yes we ordered a large sum of food, but over 30mins?

We ordered the "Paros Mixed Dinner" which comes with x2 chicken souvlaki, x2 pork souvlaki, chicken shawarma, gyro meat, rice, potatoes, large greek salad and 2 pita bread. This costs $43. Since there are 5 of us, I ordered A SECOND CHICKEN SHAWARMA PLATE so I could have a lunch of my own. This was an additional $12.50 and $1.30 for my can of pop. Our total was $64.18 with tax.

After driving the 15min commute back home, we realised they forgot my chicken shawarma dinner plate. When I drove all the way back, I had to argue my way to get the food that I had originally asked for, paid for, and waited for.

The younger staff member (there were 2) insisted that he packed a chicken shawarma plate. Which he did... as it was the one that came with the Paros Mixed Dinner. But I did NOT receive the SECOND chicken shawarma plate that I added to the order and paid for. For some reason, he still insisted he packed a chicken shawarma. I kept explaining that MINE WASNT THERE so he said he would "make it for me but knows it was packed." I was so frustrated that I told him "Im not lying I just want my food" and sat down at a table. This rude staff member turns to what I assume was his older boss, and said "I made it I know I packed it".

When my takeout was ready, he told me to DOUBLE CHECK THE PREVIOUS BAG WHEN I GET HOME... Are you flippin' kidding me? You give me attitude after YOU mess up the order and tell me to CHECK when im home?? I told him I KNOW it was missing a plate of food bc I checked that bag inside and out.. I'm pregnant.. do you really think I'd lie and drive all the way back for this just to get a free plate of food???? It's 33° and feels like 39°... Id rather be at home eating the food YOU should of PROVIDED. Instead I had to waste double the gas and an ADDITIONAL 30 minutes of my time. We will NEVER be ordering from this...

I really wanted to like this place because it's around the corner from my house and to support local. I ordered Chicken Slouvaki dinner, my second time. When I called in my order the girl who answered the phone was not anyone that should be taking phone orders. Her phone etiquette was non-existent. When I got there I gave my name. The girl behind the counter took my payment, I'm assuming the same girl who took my phone order. Eating: the rice was not cooked, it was bland. The chicken slouvaki, although the pieces were quite adequate, the meat was dry. There were three very small potato pieces. The salad was small and I only got one kalamata olive!! Really?? One olive??? The best thing about the meal was the pita bread. I woke up this morning and everything was swollen, my faces, fingers and feet! They use way too much sodium! One thing is they are consistent, the meal was exactly like the first one I had. For the $15 I spent it was not worth it. That was the last time I will order from this place....

My daughter and I were craving Greek food and being new to Stoney creek we researched what was available close to us. We chose this restaurant since it had great reviews. So we called in our order and it was very busy, good sign, the girl said 50 mins. We hit the directions on their website and from Stoney creek it said 12 mins. Well the directions led us to the intersection of 56 and 20, (upper Centennial) no restaurant located here. We called back and the girl told us its in the Freshco plaza. So we Googled Freshco in Binbrook and it was 8 mins from this intersection, we finally find it after driving for 30 mins trying to find it before we called the 2nd time. The food was delicious, portions are great. Our food wasn't ready yet since we got there a bit early but it was worth it. Just frustrated since the directions on Google are incorrect.
