Okay this is a long one but i feel it needs to be said. This would be 1 or lower but the food is usually good. But the last time I ordered was probably one of the worst experiences I have had from any restaurants. Let's start at the beginning, I ordered for pick up got an email saying it will be ready for pick up an hour and 15 min later, kinda long but okay maybe they are busy. Got a call 10 min later saying certain things they were pit of stock, okay fine change a few things. Go to pick it up, show up 4 min earlier then the email said just incase it was ready early, the female at the front was extremely nice, went back to ask about my order. Came back and told me it wasn't finished yet and told me the ticket time (or whatever she said) it was 6 min after the email said. So I waited, while I was waiting i noticed a lot of things about the staff. Few of them not wearing masks while out walking on the floor, one of them was sitting beside a customer at their table, alot of them on their phone constantly, also many other things. After 5-6 min after I was told my order would be complete, I was told it was almost finished. I waited another 10 min and finally got my order. Saw more of the issues previously stated. Okay so I got my food you would think the issues would be done.......nope......... my wife really didn't like her wrap, it looked like it had burnt food on it, like they didn't wipe off the grill or something. We also got cauliflower bites and there was only 3 in the container, I don't know about anyone else but i feel 3 is not the right number. Read moreI have to say first, that I don't like to complain or give bad reviews. I work as a server and understand that people have bad days and that not everything can be perfect all the time. Today just so happens to be that day at Binbrook. We started by waiting to be seated longer than appropriate which isn't a big deal. We shook that off, no problem. Our server arrived quickly after we were seated which was great but left us without our ordered drinks for over 15 minutes. We had to go find and ask her again. I wanted a 6oz glass of wine. She brought me a 9oz and charged me for the 9oz glass that I took 3 sips of and didn't finish because it tasted like it had been open for too long. Our wings that we ordered came out later than appropriate. They looked steamy hot but when we bit into them, you could tell that they were fried, set out, got cold, and probably were put back into the fryer to heat them up which left them very tuff. We ate them anyway. Our food came out. We asked for refills on our waters, a soda and some mustard. She didn't come back until about 10 minutes later and by that time, we were ready to leave. The warm goat cheese salad was awesome and very tasty. My wife's sandwich was supposed to be warm but was cold and the bread was hard and stale. Needless to say, the server took it off the check but had her coworker come to cash us out. I let her coworker know that we would pay for the wine, no problem but that they may want to check the wine I had gotten, because it tasted flat. Instead of listening she told me that they had just opened it and that it shouldn't be. I didn't know what to say to that so I just said, "thank you" and we left. Read moreHubby and I decided to check out Binbrook Grill for the first time for our long over due date night. Being someone who works in the server industry I might have higher standards than others. With that being said our night had a snowball effect from the moment we sat down. It was a Friday night so I completely understand the busy rush. However it took about 15 mins for our server to get to our table, once she arrived we placed our drink and appetizers order. Our drinks came about 15 mins later and then our calamari about 15 mins following to which we placed our main course order. Total time at table at this point 45 mins. Once we devoured our appetizer (absolutely delicious might I add) we began to wonder how long our main course would take. We attempted to order more drinks which never came to our disappointment. Then we had another waitress come check on us to find out our main course had not been sent to the kitchen yet. Being somewhat discouraged and disappointed we were assured our meals were on a rush from the kitchen. Hubby ordered the braised short rib and myself the lobster and crab Mac and cheese. Once our meals finally came (total time at table 1h 35mins) it was quickly noted how rushed our meals were made. My Mac and cheese was barely warm, runny and the cheese on top barely melted. I decided not to mention anything and eat what I could as I could see the servers trying their absolute best to make the situation better (applause to them for their efforts).
