Slye Fox Binbrook — Restaurant in Hamilton

Really great lunch with my partner and two of our kids. Middle of the afternoon on a long weekend - pretty quiet at the Slye Fox, but the service and the food were outstanding. Charlotte gets a lot of credit for the great experience - friendly, helpful, and flexible with what we thought might be complicated requests. One of us wanted the Hangover Burger - but vegetarian as well as the Lavender Lemonade cocktail - but non-alcoholic. Neither was an issue. My partner and I wanted to share the Saturday rib special - also, no problem. The kitchen staff also get a tremendous amount of credit for this excellent lunch. The ribs were amazing - the very definition of 'fall off the bone'. If you visit on a Saturday, strongly consider the ribs! The Hangover Burger in its vegetarian version was good (probably much better in its regular version...) The final order was the Nashville Chicken Crunch - rated delicious and the portions made for two meals. All of us had fries as the side, and they were fantastic. Great experience! I'm really looking forward to getting back - especially for those ribs!

Had wings here before and it was ok that why I decided to try again, BUT Whet here for lunch for wings, walked in and was immediately greeted by a big Pit Bull dog in Center or dining room had a bowl with water and all, heading to the washroom I check if it’s a service animal however no visible marking indicating it was. Took my seat only saw one server, after requesting refreshment ask for a few more minutes as my partner was on the way, after 3 minutes after arriving we waited for 6 minutes with no one to take our order, few more patrons came in however they seems to get all the attention try getting server attention by waving but was ignored. So we went next door and grab subway.

An empty dining room and 1 server for lunch was the red flag. Key word hospitality, if you can’t be hospitable to a few customers in an empty...

My wife and I decided to stop in and check out this new place. Our evening started off on the wrong foot as the wait times were nothing short of excruciating. Our server seemed to have more interest in chatting to other customers at the bar than attending to us and to make matters worse, when our food finally arrived, it was completely overcooked. The nashville chicken sandwich despite the sauce was dry and tough, the fries were soggy and underdone, the spicy burger was also completely overcooked and inedible unless dipped in gravy. Our server did not check on us until it was time to pay and my wife and I were fed up at this point and just wanted to leave.
