Been on a mission to visit all small independent coffee shops in and around me and then slowly expand out.

Stumbled across Phin, quick little 25 min ride from my house. I hadn't realized that they moved into a newer, larger location compared the pictures on google, but trusty google made me land at the correct spot.

The bright white exterior immediately was fresh and cheery, I wanted to sit outside and relish the vibe. It was an early Sunday morning, however I could already see the hustle and bustle inside.

I was greeted with a Hello and we will be right with you, while I browsed their extremely unique coffee collection and admired their kitchen and customer lounge area. Do I sit out or stay in?

Wesley and Andrew clearly exhibit that they love what they do and are here for the joy of it. If you want a soul less transaction, thousands of coffee chains around you. This here is magic, there is soul, there is feel, there is art, there is romance. Andrew and Wesley, will talk to you about anything and even more so about coffee endlessly if you wish. This isn't a 45 second in and out visit or a spot.

No pricing displayed, you are here for the experience and excellent coffee. You pay the price no matter what it is. And it is well worth it.

I got the best tasting espresso of my life. Got some education, a 2nd cup of coffee and spent a good 45 mins there, inside this time.

Cant wait to return and try another bean, another roast, another discovery.

Well done to the both of you and thank you for being around and doing...

Phin Coffee Bar is new to me. My son took me here as a nice treat on a weekday early afternoon. This cafe, I have been made aware, was located just across the street from their new location. The fresh look of the white interior, dotted with a few soft colors of merchandise, table, chairs, and indoor plants is absolutely beautiful and very pleasing to the eye. The staff was friendly and courteous—one can immediately see the passion in their eyes. I had a shot of one of the best espresso I have had in a very long time with a glass of sparkling water. The espresso had a very distinctive flavor that took me back to my trips to Italy. It had just the right amount of crema with layers of rich and exceptional flavors without the harsh aftertaste. While browsing through their merchandise, I’ve spotted a popcorn yellow personal thermos which ended up in a bag with my name on it. Simple pleasures in life has no price tag. Go...

This coffee joint is a grab n go place primarily i feel, even though there are a few tables and chairs but due to the rona those unfortunately have to remain vacant. Its a nice coffee shop with coffee beans sourced from roasters all around the world. I was really impressed with the wide variety of rare blends for espresso and single origin coffee. Andrew has answers to all your coffee related questions and his passion for coffee shows the moment he starts to answer them. Everything on the menu is priced decent and for what you get, it is simply a bargain. I ordered cappuccino and a drip coffee, and I must say both were great. The cappuccino was made from a blend that was roasted in Australia and I will be going back to purchase a bag of it. You'll find some coffee accessories and machines for sale as well. Truly a place selling...

I had the best oat milk matcha latte there that I have ever had. It was so creamy, that it was a meal in a cup. It was so pretty that I almost didn’t want to drink it, but I’m glad I did as it was as delicious as it was pretty. The owners are kind and friendly and the overall vibe is of welcome and inclusion. Inside space is limited and by my experience, university students seem to linger to study, which means that the few available tables are taken for an unreasonable amount of time, leaving new customers with drinks with no place to sit. You might have to drive around a bit to find parking, but I was going grocery shopping after so I parked at Food Basics and walked over. There is a metal city bench out in front. I’m not sure if there is any other seating outside. They have nice merchandise for sale, too. I highly recommend Phin Coffee.
