Pita Pit — Restaurant in Hamilton

PLACE IS SCAMMY, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

I went there to grab for myself a quick lunch, only a chicken shawarma and a rice bowl as a side as advertised on their menu. Instead I was charged $28+ tax for a whole rice bowl and a chicken shawarma. When I disputed my transaction with the staff, they informed me that this I ordered a whole rice bowl with toppings even though I only wanted a small pack of rice for $2 When I asked for a refund, they told me they do not refund credit cards. How does that make sense?

So he told me that I would get a coupon for next time to order a pita on the house, he got a reciept and wrote his info there. When I went to sit and wait for my rice bowl, they did not prepare the chicken shawarma which was included in the price for me. So when they gave me the rice bowl, they made it seem like I just ordered that item and nothing else. I finished the rice bowl and waited for an hour, no shawarma. When I went to ask if the shawarma is ready, they asked me to show the coupon. Why should I show the coupon if it is meant for next time? I paid $28 for a rice bowl and shawarma! If I had left the place without eating the shawarma they would not have cared. This was intentional SCAM! Please avoid this place and never order from here. The food is subpar, the communication is terrible and the management intends to scam you instead of refunding you.

For reference the manager who scammed me is called Prengo. Do not conduct business with him, especially if your order was a mistake as he would not...

On February 1st i arrived to pickup a skip the dishes order. I followed instructions via app and tapped that i was "parked at restaurant". I then went inside waited for 1 minute and as i am collecting the order, was yelled at by a male staff member in front of his female coworker and other patrons. He was upset that i selected "parked at restaurant" earlier than the pickup time which i told him was the instructions that the app gave me. Between being parked and collecting the order was a span of 3 minutes...

He was incredibly rude continuing to yell in the establishment while he was on his bluetooth headset talking on the phone and serving customers. He almost refused to give me my order when i told him he was incorrect and the female coworker handed me the order so that i could be on my way. Other customers were confused as well and were shaking their head and he had the nerve to tell the skipthedishes support that i was rude. This was an unwelcoming experience and the first i have had on shift in my 5 years delivering he was very unprofessional.

I would never go back here personally for food as he was belittling and i was working not even ordering. I saw another order from there and declined as i did not wish to get into a back and forth. Very bad...

I've been to other Pita Pits, but when I visited this location about a year or so ago, I was highly impressed! I picked up a card and the names on it are Erin & Jennifer...I'm going to assume they were the 2 ladies who served me that day..Wow! They were amazing. So friendly. Exceptional customer service! I ordered my meal, and they asked of I wanted my cheese melted on it, which I've never been asked before, so that was nice. And I guess they had made some smoothies, and had some left over and offered me a tiny cup of it. 1) sweet, thank you! who doesn't like free things, lol. 2) also a good way to let me try it, since I'd never had one before; but have since ordered some now knowing how it tastes.
