Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Hamilton

Popped in here on a busy (least the kitchen was) night, craved some pizza. Can’t eat as much as I used to, due to health issues. On 11/16/2024 about 7:30 P.M. they have a huge dining area, but no service? You have to order take-out, and have option to eat there or take home. People we’re picking up their pizza, many people working in the kitchen frantically. I just ordered a Personal Size pizza (about 6-7 inches in circumference). Ordered pepperoni & mushrooms on it, took about 15-20 minutes for it to be done. Took it to my car, wife doesn’t like pizza, so she went to Wendy’s next door. We ate our food in the car, my little pizza was delicious, crust was nice, cooked just right. The sauce, was a little sweet like (but good), the pepperonis were curled up and cooked well, with a bit of spice to them. There was plenty of fresh mushrooms distributed on the pie, with enough mozzarella cheese to compliment the pizza. I had no complaints, polite service and finished product was satisfied by myself. Can’t understand some of the negative reviews, but on this occasion, I enjoyed the pizza I purchased at this Pizza Hut location. They had many other deals on too, for the larger eaters. We usually hit the lunch buffet when my kids have a pa day or during Xmas break and March break as it’s an affordable yummy treat and I have always loved Pizza Hut pizza! We got there at 12 and there was nearly nothing left!! A few cheese slices the apple pie pizza and some salad...it took 15 minutes for more to come out and again it wasn’t amount or variety there Usually is! And to top it off that decrepit straight out of a movie bad diner waitress “Francesca” whom I dodge as her rudeness is almost a guarantee every visit still managed to ruin our lunch despite ensuring we had another waitress who was lovely! My 15 year old sister was getting up to finally go see if some more food had been brought out and brought the plate she had already used and Francesca flew across the room and ripped it out of her hands while rudely yelling “fresh plate every time”? Never once has this been disclosed to me when going to the Pizza Hut buffet and why the need to be so aggressive I don’t understand! We won’t be back and that lunatic needs to retire, she is awful and absolutely bad for business!! I understand based on the price per person it is what it is but it’s only a 2 hour buffet at least have the pizza’s continuously coming out and keep that psycho...

Gross service I received from GM Melissa. After waiting over an hour I called to ask where the pizza was? She said someone has already came by with no answer and he left. I had a full house (dogs included) and No one heard the door. During the entire conversation she had a raised voice with an aggressive tone. I asked to speak with the manager and I hope to having the issue resolved, or at least a pizza delivered. Then she told me she was actually the GM… What a shock. I asked if they were gonna send the pizza back out, and she replied the delivery guy probably doesn’t want to do that. I said OK, well is he going to or not? Then she said that delivery guy is probably not gonna wanna do it but I can send another delivery guy that will come. After that I said forget it I have basketball in 45 minutes and I have a house full of kids to feed. Fast forward 10 minutes and the pizza delivery guy calls me, he’s honestly such a soft-spoken nice guy I am shocked and appalled that the GM represented him in such a foul manner. Too bad I didn’t get to talk to the delivery guy before the GM she really ruined the experience and I will never order Pizza Hut from this location again.
