Since they are offering different flavors with their shawarma, I chose the butter chicken version. However, it was a huge mistake. And I will not blame myself for that, but the restaurant who thought it would be a good choice to have on the menu. Normally Shawarma is dry compared to butter chicken, that is why shawarma goes well in the wrap, with addition of some tahini sauce and veggies. However, butter chicken shawarma was not shawarma, and it was not the true version of butter chicken. When butter chicken was wrapped into the bread, I cannot say I was able to enjoy it as it was it was messy, mashy, chewy while the wrap was made with wide open ends letting everything to drop from the wrap. It was my fault for giving a try to a shawarma at a 'franchise' versus going to a place where the shawarma is made by the chefs / masters themselves. The girls at the store did their job well, but the fancy packaging was not enough for enjoying my shawarma. I am not coming...
Read moreI’ve been a regular at this location since it opened and have always ordered the same item. However, my most recent visit was disappointing, and I will not be returning.
As I was placing my order, the cashier informed me that there was an additional $1 charge for choosing jerk chicken over regular chicken. When I mentioned that I had never been charged this fee before, he responded by suggesting that the previous employee may have been giving me 'favors.' He then corrected himself, stating that the charge was actually $2. When I asked where this fee was listed on the menu, he had no response.
It’s not about the extra charge—it’s about the unprofessional and disrespectful attitude. Due to this experience, I walked out and will not be returning. As a loyal customer, I expected better transparency and...
Read moreI tried a small falafel wrap at the other location and was let down because it was dry. When I heard this new location opened up I thought I’d try their Saj bread this time and maybe they could redeem themselves in my eyes. I was wrong the falafel wrap on saj is dry as well , why don’t they put onions on this by default ? Why do I have to ask for so many things you left out ? Such as pickles or turnip ( I can’t remember which one ) and onions like the basics of a falafel. I got tahini , hummus , garlic and hot sauce on it as well ON their famous “SAJ BREAD” , it was painful eating this dry garbage now I know I’ll never return to Tahini’s it’s bad across the map no matter what bread you try or what location you go to. The lettuce also had a stinky smell coming from it as I was...
