The reason Iâm not putting a one star is because the service by the guy .
Iâm not sure whatâs happening with the Chicken Habanero bowls at Tim Hortons on concession , but the inconsistency in size and quality is shocking. Iâve had this bowl at several locations, and itâs usually a decent portion, with a well-filled bowl that actually feels worth the price. However, my experience at this specific Tim Hortons was extremely disappointing.
The first image shows what the bowl normally looks like at other storesâa satisfying portion with a good amount of ingredients. The second picture, though, is what I received here: a small, puny portion that doesnât even fill the bowl properly. It looked hastily thrown together, with barely any toppings or filling, and the bowl itself was visibly smaller.
To make matters worse, the food was cold at the bottom, as if it had been pre-prepped and left sitting around. It lacked the fresh, warm quality I expect, and it definitely didnât feel like it was worth the money I paid.
Tim Hortons, if youâre going to offer these bowls, at least make sure theyâre consistent across all locations. This was disappointing, and I wonât be ordering this again unless I can be sure Iâm getting what Iâm paying for.
But I wanna give a shout out to the manager that was at the location or the supervisor gentleman that usually takes the orders at the windows as soon as we came in and showed him the bowl he was all like âdonât worry say lessâ and he fixed it right away, and he knew that the girl had done the portioning wrong and he didnât hesitate a second to fix it for us. He was amazing. Thanks supervisor guy Thatâs why the Service got a 4 star only...
Read moreI would normally give this location 5 stars for service and friendliness but not today at lunch. I've been having a problem with my tap function on my bank card and in order to get it to work I have to put my thumb on my chip. She told me that it wouldn't work if I did that and when I tried to explain the problem to her she took the card from my hand at the drive thru and scanned it herself and it worked by sheer luck because my card is very tempermental and needs replacing. She then went into the reason why it doesn't work for me was because of how I hold it. I said "just give me my food I'm not going to argue with you about my card." As I was getting my food and going against my own advice I tried to explain to her that my issue was with the card having a loose chip and her response was that the issue was how I hold the card and to take my food and go. I did some research afterwards and I have always pointed my card on tap transactions as instructed by the Bank to point the 3 little bracket-like marks closer to the debit machine. Her argument was that the chip needs to be what's pointed at the machine when in reality the card only needs to be within a 2 inch proximity of the machine regardless of the card's orientation. But the bottom line here is that the employee became rude when she felt that I was in the wrong AND she is not supposed to be taking a customer's bank card from their hand. Service is supposed to be contactless and it has never been appropriate to take a customer's bank card even before pandemic rules were introduced. Unfortunately I didn't see her name to report her by name but she was an adult employee. And I went through there...
Read moreThe one star that I am giving for food is only for Elizabeth, who works tirelessly during peak morning hours and caters to all food orders by herself. Rest everything is just hopeless at this place now. I am not sure if the staff is well trained or efficient to be in the customer service business but barring two or three people, nobody here seems to be knowing what customer service actually means and is merely doing their job to get paid. It was a different place altogether before but I wonder what has happened off late. Another star for service offered by that limited trained staff who are not just preparing the order but greeting, LISTENING, paying attention and preparing the orders correctly and also multi tasking. I had visited the store with my friend for a steeped tea with very specific instructions of adding two milk and three sugars. The tea was placed at the pickup station by the girl without acknowledging as to who it was for amidst a couple of guests waiting for their order. Though it wasn't very shocking for us for the tea to be wrongly prepared for the third time(it had no sugar), but it is extremely crucial to let the concerned people know that guests are losing their loyalty and essence of feeling happy to be at the store and are only visiting because it's convenient to grab an affordable coffee which could be fresh "sometimes". My humble request is to work on the customer service skills , which I presume, will only reflect if the employees are enjoying their work. After multiple visits, I can definitely say it...
