Absolutely disgusting service at this location (Esso station Mohawk East & Upper Sherman, Hamilton.) Thursday 6th January at 12 noon!!!
I'm saying the service is disgusting but I didn't wait around long enough to see after I was finally greeted by a vey surly, unfriendly member of staff.
I waited in line while she slowly served the customer in from of me then the interaction began..........
ME: Hi HER: Yeh, what do you want (no eye contact whatsoever) ME: A medium black coffee please and a medium decaf, one milk one sugar! HER: (BIG SIGN, NO EYE CONATCT STILL) You'll have to wait I've not put any decaf on!! ME: Don't bother, cancel the order.
I turned around and walk out!!! I wasn't taking anymore of her attitude!
I wasn't handing over my money to this establishment !! I think the franchisee of this Tim Hortons needs to either fire their staff with bad attitudes or train them.
I also think Tim Hortons needs to stop resting on their laurels , with their smug attitude that people will always buy their coffee, unfortunately times are changing and their customer base is also changing and they need to keep up with the new independent coffee houses who value their customers.
Tim's portion sizes keep shrinking, their prices keep increasing and the quality doesn't match or justify the price hike, indeed it's the total opposite, cutting costs and standards expecting people to stay loyal.
I don't think so!!
Avoid this Tim Horton's, drive or walk up to Tim's at Upper Gage and Mohawk , friendly and helpful staff whatever the the...
Read moreStopped in to buy a strawberry banana smoothie and some hockey cards. In what should have been a quick in and out, took 30 minutes, as the attendant offered her opinion on how many packs of cards I ordered. She never heard of anyone ordering 40 packs of cards before, telling me she could only give me 1 maybe 2 packs and that she didnt think that she had that many available. I could clearly see a brand new box on the back counter freshly opened, so 40 was a non issue. Secondly the requirements say $1 for 1 pack with every qualifying drink purchase and $2 for each pack after, with no limit on amount of packs. I asked her to call her manager if she was unsure, while she still opined on how many I was asking for, saying she never heard of anybody asking for that many before. All the while this was happening a lineup of customers out the door was happening. The girl at the esso counter finally told her to call her manager for clarification. So she did and she explained the situation and also still offering her opinion. I guess it was ok to order 40 packs as I heard 4 oks from the attendant on the phone and got my order. Tim's needs to make their workers informed of their rules and promotions to avoid confusion. On a positive note the strawberry banana smoothie was so refreshing and delicious, I would definitely...
