CF Lime Ridge Mall is⦠fine. It suffices, especially if youāre in Hamilton and your standards for consumerism are modest. Itās got the basics: your familiar run-of-the-mill chain stores, a couple of anchor tenants, and the unmistakable hum of retail desperation echoing through its corridors. Youāll find overpriced hoodies you couldāve gotten for half the price on Amazon, tech accessories marked up to absurdity, and a handful of kiosks hawking things you forgot existed until now.
Aesthetically and atmospherically, it pales in comparison to the grandeur and bustle of Square One in Mississauga or the Eaton Centre in Toronto. It lacks the architectural intrigue, variety, or cosmopolitan energy of those larger, more dynamic malls. Lime Ridge is more⦠āwalk in circles until you forget why you came here,ā kind of mall. Which, to be fair, can be meditative if you lean into it.
That said, it has its charms. If you enjoy people-watching, you can plant yourself at Starbucks or one of the bubble tea spots and watch the subtle theatre of suburban life unfold before you. Teenagers flaunting new fits, tired parents dragging strollers, mall walkers doing laps like itās cardio hour ā itās all here.
Ultimately, CF Lime Ridge is serviceable. Youāll get what you need (probably at too high a price), you might run into someone you went to high school with, and youāll leave slightly disoriented but...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is very nice. There's many stores to visit, a food court, other dessert places (Cinnabun, Ice cream&chocolate shop, popcorn, bubble tea, booster juice, etc) clothing shops, tech shops, there's a blanket store and a candle store, etc. This is a great place to run arends or hang out with friends. The parking lot is kinda hectic but there's a front lot and a back lot, and the back lot is a bit calmer. There's 2 floors and the escalators are usually open but once in a while they close down and become normal stairs. There's only 1 elevator and 4 spots for escalators, and one flight of stairs. This mall only has two floors but it's pretty wide. There's tons of areas to sit and lots of garbage cans. A few stores ask to not bring in any food or drinks, but most don't mind. There's security patrolling occasionally, but overall this mall is open and fun. During the seasons it's decorated too. (Christmas they have a Santa with pictures, and other places set up like gift wrapping stations, and other places to take pictures yourself.) This mall had some renovations done last year and it looks lot better than it used to. It's clean but busy...
