10/5 stars. Service, hospitality, food, experience, atmosphere - everything, right across the board.
We ordered nachos, 2 different kinds of wings, gyozas, and a chicken Slovaki meal, and were stunned with both portions and quality. For wings, we decided on the salt and pepper wings as well as an order of honey garlic. The salt and pepper wings were crispy but not dry on the inside, and the honey garlic wings were tender, juicy, and just the right amount of sauce. The other members of my party are still, 4 or 5 days later, talking about the Greek potatoes and chicken 😅 The chicken was juicy and had such good flavor. I'm not sure what they do to the potatoes, but I hope they never change the recipe. The gyozas were so perfectly cooked and had plenty of filling.
None of us are big on liquor but agreed to try a ceaser and were more than satisfied with the decision. (Would defiently hit the spot on a rough Sunday morning 🤪)
We mentioned one of the members of our party had a severe dairy allergy, and our server was soooo tentative about it. (It's SO hard to find a resteraunt that takes the proper precautions when it comes to severe allergies, and we felt so heard/seen in that regard.)
We opted to sit in the rain, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, covered from the direct rainfall, and did not once forget we were out there.
Lastly, to our surprise, we also got to catch a couple minutes of some live, local entertainment. (Every Friday night) The musician was very good at what he does, was easy to listen to, and to top it all off - any tips/money he recieved, he donates to the local food bank!! 🤯
You can truly tell that this is a locally owned, family operated buisness that LOVES what they do and the people they serve! Exactly what Hope was missing and needed!

Read more2nd time there.....SO Disappointed.....The review below this was the first experience there, read after this bad review....,a glowing review but tonight was so bad,I got the spaghetti and meatballs because the last time it was stellar ...tonight it came cold, sent it back cringing, dry meatballs and sauce tasted like canned cheap crap, not even remotely close to the 1st time ,the focaccia bread was not great either and was to die for the 1st time, they microwaved our damn dinner and gave it back to us with Saran wrap still on the sides of the bowls, still lukewarm, unbelievable, ate half of mine and my friend ate most of hers,we just didn't have the balls to complain again, told the waitress as I was paying how disappointed I was,no discount and she said she'd tell the chef,oh gee thanks,I still tipped 20% because I know the waitress Hailey relys on tips but I will never go back,if you read ahead it's my first time there so you can see the difference.........1st time there....first off we had the steak bites for the appetizer and they were insanely great, you have to try them to understand, then I had the spaghetti and meatballs with their fresh made in house focaccia,incredible!!!!!...meatballs are made in house as is the marinara sauce, best I've ever had in my 56 years, the flavour is outstanding,Hailey the server was so great and the owners care deeply about the food and the customer experience, they even came out to ask us how our dinner was,it's in hope and worth the drive from Vancouver in my opinion,I'm from Agassiz but i'd drive from as far as Vancouver to go,the music was great too, prices are excellent, trust me on this...
Read moreMy wife and Prawns. ( Frozen ? ) I ordered chicken wings with a spicy sauce. Our food came, and in all honesty, it was seriously underwhelming. The prawns came with no garnish, side veggie. Just prawns thrown in a bowl. My chicken wings were ok.. I prefer them a little crispier. .The sauce is a definite miss. Them , thrown in a bowl. No garnish on either plate. Hmmm Don't know who created that, but they should reconsider an alternative flavour. Normally, I would expect chicken wings to be accompanied by celery or carrot sticks and blue cheese dressing. As I paid the $60 ( including $5 tip ), I asked the waitress why there were no veggies with the food. Her response. We ran out. Understanding that, my advice to them would be to take whatever items you have on the menu, off, if you don't have the accompanying sides. I understand that times are tough for businesses. For a restaurant to be only open 4 days a week, I understand why cost-cutting MAY be happening.
Not again. No HOPE in...
