Worst experience ever. But I am not holding my peace. I went in here with my family for my birthday. When we walked in, the young man at the front gave us a table. and that was it. No one came to our table to take our order. The girls were all walking around attending to people who just came in, glance at us and keep going. The restaurant was not busy in any way. After some time, my husband became concerned and was like whats going on. I normally give benefit of doubt and calmed my husband down that they would come of course. After what seemed like an eternity- about 25 minutes into that, no one came. My children were of course restless. A bunch of folks came in, Immediately a server came and was taking their order and I could not hold it anymore. That was insane to me. I went straight and inquired and they said oh, they thought the young man that gave us a seat already took our order. Literally, they were pointing fingers at each other. I demanded to see the manager who came out and was like oh sorry about that, and in a very nonchalant manner, and thats about it. When we said, we were going to leave, she made no effort to placate us and make us stay. My kids were crying as we were leaving because they were super excited to celebrate my birthday eating out. Before I left, I did ask them if we were to be White, would they have treated us that way. Would someone not have checked on us within that 25-30 minutes we were totally ignored, and ask if we were finding everything ok as done in most restaurants. Leaving, I had a feeling that the poor young man at the front may not be there for long, because instead of taking responsibility as a team, they were literally showing me that it is the young man's fault. We went to Boston pizza at Ellerslie and were treated like...
Read moreI had a terrible experience with my recent order from Boston Pizza through SkipTheDishes. The portion size was ridiculously small—especially the cactus cuts, which was half of what I usually get. To make things worse, my pizza was completely missing. The bag wasn’t even stapled, so either the courier took food, or Boston Pizza served an extremely small portion.
When I called to address the issue, the manager was unbelievably rude. Instead of listening and resolving the problem, he raised his voice at me and blamed me for bringing it up. The girl host even said that it wasn’t their responsibility to staple the food which is ridiculous as I’ve worked in restaurants and have always stapled take-out food as a precaution. She didn’t try to listen to my issue at all, tried to dismiss me and came off very rude and condescending. She blamed it on how busy it was due to Valentines Day. That’s never an excuse and they have a duty to remain professional at all times with their service, not just dine in.
Completely unacceptable customer service. I won’t be ordering from here again.
Avoid this location if you want decent portions and...
Read moreThis is (was) our regular BP’s. We’ve always received great service and food, unfortunately this evening’s experience has changed that for our family. We have been buying and using the kids cards for the last 3 years, we have never had a problem when using the cards along with daily promotions but tonight we were told we had to use the daily promotion OR the kids free meals, we could not combine. When we ordered our food I clarified a menu item was included in the buy 2 get 1 free promo, and we ordered kids meals - at that point the server should have informed us we could not combine promotions. The manager was not helpful, she gave us a phone number to call for her GM and explained that head office / corporate had been cracking down on combining promos. Now I understand that rules do change but they need to be communicated with customers, and if I’m being honest I don’t care if the millionaires in corporate are mad at me saving $15, which is what this comes down to. So at the end of the day, the manager cost this particular location regular customers - our kids love BP’s so it’s the only place we typically eat. Just not at...
