This is the first time I ordered from Hypnotic Bloom Flowershop. First impressions were good. The young lady gave me a warm greeting when I came in. I came in on a Thursday at 4 pm to put in an order to pick up for the following day between 10-11am. I explained what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend($50). Running late, I came the next day to pick up the arrangement at 11:15 ish. After waiting for a few minutes, I was wondering what was taking so long, so peeked in the open back part of the business where they arrange the flowers, & I realized that they where slapping my flower arrangement together while I waited. I was shocked. Just flabbergasted. There was no care put in to my order. With my past experiences with other flower shops, the arrangements are typically done before pick up. I asked the employee why this was done so hastily and she said that they had a big order they were putting together and were really busy. I felt that I was forgotten about or they didn't care for my $50.
Driving on the way home confused to why my arrangement wasn't ready when I picked it up, I started to look up the reviews on Google. I saw that there were about 3-5 unhappy customers with somewhat similar experiences. After getting home & trying to process what happened to me at the flower shop, I called them to ask for a refund. The owner happily said she will give me one.
When I got back to the shop, I asked her why my arrangement wasn't ready at the time of pick-up and she gave 2 excuses. One; they were too busy to have it on time(even though I was late) & two; they make "fresh" arrangements together that day, not the night before. Then why wasn't my order ready?? And being "busy" is not an excuse. I think I gave them enough time to come up with a $50 arrangement. What a way to run a business. I'm curious how their books look like.
I really hope the owner reads this post and takes everything I said constructively. With your other reviews, it seems people love you & your service. But the excuses I got made no sense. It seems you are overwhelmed & need more help and/or that you have no systems in place to run an efficient...
Read moreI recently ordered flowers for a funeral and was utterly disappointed with the quality, quantity and appearance. It was a total misrepresentation of what was supposed to be provided. 3 bouquets of just roses turned out to be a mix 5 roses in each and assorted daisies, carnations, and other cheap fillers. One of these bouquets was supposed to be yellow roses, however we got white roses instead and the other cheap filler flowers were yellow. In the red rose bouquet, white lilies were included and ruined the symbolic reason it was ordered in the first place. All three of the vases for the above arrangements were supposed to be in matching glass vases, however we got three different vases- one was glass and the other two were opaque plastic. We ordered other arrangements consisting of roses but they were sparse at best and did not look close to the pictures we were shown as to what we were going to get. As for the quality, the flowers were sad looking and started to die withing two days. If it were not for a funeral, I would have brought these back immediately and demanded my money back. I was already grief stricken enough to have to deal with this insult. Sadly, there is only one chance at a funeral and this important aspect was ruined and will forever dampen my memories. In my opinion, this seems like very little pride and effort was made to fulfill this overly priced order. It is unfortunate that I have to give at least one star. BTW, this is my first review ever as I am usually a very forgiving person and I feel very...
Read moreI ordered an arrangement online and was given the option to select any date of my choice for delivery. Unlike other websites, no notice of inability to deliver on a Sunday (which I selected) was given. Instead, the flowers were delivered the following day on a Monday. When I called Hypnotic Bloom to express my frustration, the “higher up” woman I spoke with indicated that their store hours are posted on their site. I replied that as a customer, that may be, but we have no way of knowing what their actual operational hours are; further, I advised that every other site I’d previously checked clearly and immediately stated if a delivery date was unavailable and prompted me to the next available date. To be clear, Hypnotic Bloom’s site simply has a blank box to fill with a desired delivery date, then accepts payment. During the call, I never received an apology or acknowledgment of my frustration. Administrative issues can happen, (now secondary in this case) but a combative and critical response from a so-called “manager” to a customer complaint is completely unacceptable, lacks good business sense, and will cost Hypnotic Bloom lost revenue. Happily taking my business elsewhere and I encourage you to...
