Vinny's Bar — Restaurant in Kaskitayo

Gone down hill… been here many times and it was always decent, not last night. Screw up after screw up. Ordered nachos - they were cold and had next to no toppings and took nearly 45 mins to get them. We asked the server to take them back. They put the same nachos back into the oven and brought them back BURNT. Keep in mind these cost 30 dollars… we sent them back again. Also ordered 3 shrimp tacos and 1 chicken, we got 3 chicken and 1 shrimp. One was with no tomatoes - surprise! There were tomatoes in it. They remade it and offered not to charge for the nacho and taco which was good but when it was remade …. Tomatoes again!! At this point we were offered dessert to go and they were super apologetic. The whole experience started off with a painless reservation process.

As I had never been to Vinnys before, I had no idea what to expect. Walking in the door I knew this place was special. The staff were welcoming. They have a fantastic happy hour. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The portions are incredible. The quality is even greater. My server was so friendly and helpful. I stayed to watch the Oilers game. Fantastic environment with friendly and respectful fans. I will be back very soon.

It's so incredibly hard to find reasonable prices with extremely high quality. This place is over achieving at both. I've been in Edmonton for 5 years. Haven't found a restaurant like Vinnys ever before. Can't stress enough how much i enjoyed my Saturday...

Came here the other day with a large group (we did book ahead). We had 2 servers but one was training. Regardless of that, the service was extremely slow, I’m talking like more than an hour. And when we did get the food it had clearly been sitting out. I literally ordered a basic Caesar salad and garlic bread and it was evident the salad had been sitting under heating lamps for a prolonged period of time and my toast was hard as rock.
