I was very disappointed, I heard great things about this restaurant so I thought I would make reservations for two. I asked the girl if they were busy or not..she said they had lots of space so I felt we weren't going to be rushed so I made the reservation. Service was fine when we ordered our mains and we ate and sat in the rain which we never complained about instead only tried to laugh about it and just enjoy the moment since this was our first outting back at a restaurant. Then we were asked if we wanted dessert, so we ordered dessert, we weren't even halfway through our dessert when our waitress brought us the bill and had me pay before I was even done my dessert..because they had another reservation. Once I had finished my dessert I was trying to enjoy a glass of water and a light conversation before leaving when either management or the owner came by to say and I quote "love you guys but I'm going to have to kick you out.. due to covid we only have so many tables and I have another reservation.. "while grabbing our glasses..he did this in a loud voice in front of other customers which I found very embarrassing and just distasteful! We quickly grabbed our things and left! I will not be coming back to this restaurant! Don't blame the customer for overbooking a table when they're just trying to enjoy the meal! Which in the end we did not. It was fine when you wanted to be paid and tipped but this is not how you treat customers who are trying to support a local business. You have lost my business and I will never recommend this place anyone. I would not want somebody going through the same experience as I did. Please do better! I want to just add to this we were not informed that you only had a certain time to eat for the reservation. If we knew this from the beginning, I would not have ordered the dessert or the extra drink...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE! We went on Father’s Day and it was a terrible experience from start to finish - ending in FOOD POISONING. We made sure to make a reservations and asked for a highchair to which they told us we would have. We arrived and they had no available highchairs. After our orders were taken my sisters was forgotten about and brought 20 mins after everyone else’s. Our wine was HOT and had been sitting in the sun, not in the fridge. My chicken was under cooked and I had full food poisoning afterwards. I emailed the owners privately to voice my concern and let them know of my terrible experience. They didn’t respond, I sent a follow up 1.5 weeks later saying I guess my email wasn’t concerning enough for them & I will be posting a review - to which I received a reply within minutes. The email was the worst customer service I have ever experienced, excuse after excuse with 0 accountability or empathy. saying that there was no way my chicken was undercooked or contaminated. To my sisters meal being missed they said “these things happen”, and to having no high chair available even though we reserved one a week in advance and they told us it would be accommodated, they said “they’re not guaranteed, like a hotel”. Whatever that means……. They said they needed to wait to speak with the staff member working that specific day to go over the details of my order and that they need my bill to place a refund. I never asked for a refund, only a professional, empathetic response so that this does not happen to others. Clearly they are not prepared to be busy, and you will have uncooked food or terrible service (or both in my case). Please think about giving your business to one of the other beautiful...
Read moreWe had a great day and were meeting up with friends to eat and enjoy our evening. As soon as we walked into this place the waitress seemed grumpy. Everything was a problem. We asked for a table for 6 as friends will be joining us. She said is it 3 or 6? we replied definitely 3 for now plus 3 more coming later. She seated us at a table for 4 on the patio. Gave us dinner menu and took our drink order. She came back with drinks and took our food order before our friends arrived leaving one menu. When they arrived we moved a table to join ours. She came out and rudely said we cannot do that!! It apparently was a big problem to her. So to keep it simple they squeezed into our table. As they asked for more menus she gave them trouble for entering the restaurant from the side instead of the front door!!! When they ordered there was a pizza wing and drink menu the first 3 never got to see to order from!!!! Anyways we tried not to let her ruin our evening even though she was rude and grumpy or even never smiled once. There was a miscommunication error over whether ordered a red or white wine fine it happens but when we asked after dinner if we could move inside for more drinks due to mosquitoes eating us alive she relunctantly said yes but said she is kicking us out exactly 915pm. Absolutely the worst customer service any of us have ever had. Other elderly customers said the same thing!!!! She over charged on one of our bills and later adding up ours over charged on it too.
