Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Kawartha Lakes

Terrible customer service at restaurant! I'm a regular customer, and I ordered our favourite pizza on the iPhone app like I always do. The timer said ready in 15 minutes for pickup or it's free. I arrived at the restaurant with about 2 mins left on the timer. Usually my pizza is ready early so I gave my info and the cashier said it wasn't ready yet. I showed them the timer and said "I hope I get it in the next minute and a half or it's free right?" He mumbled something about that only being for delivery so I showed him the app where it said clearly it would be free if not ready in 15 minutes! By this time there was about 30 seconds left to go on the timer. Just after the timer expired they pulled the pizza out and tried to get me to pay for it... it wasn't even fully cooked. The manager came up and started arguing with me and said he wouldn't give me the pizza unless I paid for it. Thank goodness they have good telephone customer service! For some reason the people working at the restaurant don't know their customer service number but of course I was able to look it up on my phone. When I called in I was able to speak to someone right away, and after explaining what happened they changed my order so it was free. I had to ask the restaurant to put the pizza back in the oven to finish cooking it (which took about 3-4 more minutes!) It's too bad people don't know how to treat customers. PIZZA NEVER CAME EVEN AFTER WE CALLED AND CONFIRMED. WORST PIZZA PIZZA EVER.

My boyfriend and I ordered a pizza from this place because it was late and we had a really long day with a roadtrip and haven't eaten dinner. We could have drove or even walked the legit 3 blocks down the street but were tired and ordered delivery. We ordered around 10:55 and asked for delivery at 12:30 because an hour and a half was the quickest delivery time apparently... so we stayed up and waited....and waited and are still falling asleep currently waiting at 12:50. We called the place and they said they close at 1am though it says that they close at 12. Still wondering where our pizza is in the deas of night 2 hours later.

Even so... pizza pizza has a customer time guarantee. But when we ordered, all of a sudden that franchise rule ceases to exist and "there is no time guarantee". Why not. This is a pizza pizza chain is it not. I have had awful pizza pizza experiences, even one where a lady called me "racist to her kinds of people" because I asked why she asked 3 times for my phone number; but this one is honestly the worst. Seriously. Both of us are hungry and completely enraged. This store should definitely be shut down. I just moved to the area and will be telling all my uni mates never to order here. Used to be my favorite joint to order something quick at 12a.m. The driver called as he parked to state he was here. I saw on camera he was. Then as he walked up he looked at the receipt to confirm once again it was as he looked at the house numbers,(new area understandable), I asked sure your not lost i i did order pizza. He stated, "He did not lose and pulled out my food then re looked at the Receive. Oh no, tip, he says So, hands me my order, then I give him the cash ( he knew it wasn't a pay with debit) he walked to his card and said one second. He puts his bag into the back and then shakes his jacket, searching for change. Comes back with the receipt and states I don't have any change. I said I don't have anything other than cash ( like he truly thought he was getting a 20 dollar tip) he kept on giving any excuse in the book. ( When you go out for dinner, you don't tip before you try a bite or sip on a drink at a bar. I said you could have the food back as i called ahead of time to let them know I had no change, and the guy made that note on the top of the receipt. But pizza was so soggy To the point it was not able to eat and rest of the food was just over done..didn't bring 2 items he would of grabbed before taken the order but of...
