A&W Canada — Restaurant in Kelowna

It’s hard to resist a traditional A&W Root Beer in the heat of the summer! This location in the heart of Kelowna across from Orchard Park mall was worth taking the time to right a review! There are a lot of tempting new menu items and new drinks too and I really should come back for some of those but on a hot day I REALLY just wanted an icy cold root beer! I did go a further stretch and had the latest frozen root beer and it is a struggle which one to pick now! Along with the rootbeer I the classic cut fries were great and I think it was maybe the owner / franchisee serving us. I should have got her name. She was awesome. This may be fast food but she paid complete attention to customer service and made my day. I also noticed that she did the same with each of the guests following us and then made her rounds in the restaurant tidying up and getting things back in order between guests. Paid for my food through the mobile app for the Harvey location, went through the drive through to pick my food up to be told they didn’t receive my order. I had proof of purchase both via a receipt of my order and a statement of the money being taken from my bank account. I was greeted with argumentative behaviour and a huge attitude from the on shift supervisor who told me they could do nothing for me, I told her I wanted my food or a refund and she was unable to produce either for me. I normally don’t do bad reviews because our daughter is in the food service industry and we have a lot of respect for the hard work that goes into it but my wife and I are from out of town (Saskatchewan) and went to this A&W on Saturday Dec 10th 2022 around 10-10:30 pm. I have to say that we were extremely disappointed as not only was our order not correct but all 3 teen burgers were ice cold.
