Royal Punjab Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Kelowna

We came to dine in on a relatively quiet night with a couple families and one big table with 10+ guests. Our food came 45 minutes after we had ordered with no note or apology from our waitress. Our food also came out last even though we had arrived before another two families who got their food earlier.

After our food finally arrived, there was an extra dish served. When I asked the server if we had ordered it, she insisted that we did even though that would have been way too much food. I explained to her that we only got two dishes and an appetizer. She took the extra dish, then went back into the kitchen. Shortly after she came back to argue and gaslight us into thinking we ordered it and that it will still be on our tab. This was the most infuriating as she never read back our order and she never thought that there could have been an error on her end with the touchscreen. She eventually relented after insisting that we were the crazy ones.

Even though the rest of the meal was awkward, we still tipped her 20%. Hopefully this business doesn't continue to treat their customers like this because this is ridiculous and a total scam if you secretly add dishes and make the...

First we went with our family and food was good. The second time we went, the server, Kamal never paid much attention to us. We waited 15 mins before she took the food from us. We waited about 45 mins until the food arrived. We asked the food not to be spicy as it was for kids..but it was spicy. I doubted that she will ever come and ask how everything was. When we were done and asked for the bill. I was surprised that she even asked us how the food was and when we told her she just walked away! She had two other tables she was serving. Such a poor service and I totally disliked her arrogant attitude. I understand it gets busy but you have to be so rude to your customers. I finally thought it was a good restaurant with quality food in Kelowna. The good service with a smile goes a long way.. hope they can teach their staff be a little friendly...

Don’t even fell like giving 1 star. The worst Indian restaurant I have eaten from already complained twice verbally by calling restaurant as the goat was very tough in my previous orders but still gave it a third try and yet the worst Indian food 3 days ago I ordered Goat Rogan Josh but was given Goat korma and also ordered chilly chicken but it was chicken tikka in chilly chicken sauce. Naan was all raw my entire bill was $54 which went down the drain as I could not eat anything Before coming to this extent I did call the restaurant on Wednesday and asked the waitress if I could talk to the owner she took down my number without asking me my name and said that I will get a call back and until now I did not get any call from the restaurant.
