First off, they really should have gotten 5 stars from the initial greeting, order taking, drinks and general appearance of the food. Everything going really well until the food was served then it slid downhill, fast. So, my soft poached eggs came to me hard poached, the bacon was served in a clump and couldn't be separated and also tasted like it was deep fried(a clump of smoked grease, nicely browned though). Loved the garnish(I haven't seen Golden Berry outside of the lower mainland) my little cinnamon slice was nice but my wife's was bone dry. Both strawberries were very carefully turned over so the big black marks couldn't seen. The toast was toasty except the butter couldn't/wouldn't melt so I don't think it was butter, I mean it sat on the toast for the entire meal and didn't melt or anything. Our server convinced me to change my eggs out for fresh ones, which I did appreciate, but the rest of my meal was cold by the time the eggs arrived a couple of minutes later. It's amazing how a little break down,( in this case, the kitchen) can change people's entire experience. ALSO, even though it was outside my personal experience the person next to us couldn't cut through his ribs. Sorry kitchen, but you let at least 2 tables down today.

We ordered the halibut tacos as an appie. We received two of the tiniest tacos ever. The cost was $15. Then we ordered nachos with extra cheese, taco beef, and extra sour cream. The cost was $25 altogether. It was an extremely small portion, with barely enough cheese to be considered a single portion, the tiniest extra cup of sour cream. The cup may have been two extra tablespoons for an extra 2.75. There was almost no tomatoes, barely any jalapeños. I think I tasted two bites of beef on the entire thing. Very disappointing. Especially since we’ve eaten here many times over the past 10 years and have had great food. The bartenders did not seem like they liked their jobs. Not the usual happy place I’ve been to in the past. Unhappy employees are not fun to be around. The owner should be looking into why his staff seem unhappy.

Hello readers! Brandts creek pub! Where do I start?!?! You had me at free refills! Tonight we had the Brandts stacked burger platter ($16.50) and we were more then satisfied with our meal! The burgers came out slow because of wing night but the taste and presentation was on point! The first bite was a delicious flavourful crisp crunch with the gooey cheese and crisp bacon I couldn’t ask for more! (See photos) The fries were crisp and perfectly golden! Our waitress (the white haired girl) was very courteous and was always keeping an eye on our drinks making sure we had refills when we were empty! At the end of the day the women was full and happy and that means a good night for me! Thanks Brandts see you again! 😎

I would like to advise others to be cautious of going to this restaurant. I have been there numerous times and more often that not the waitresses have what seems to be an attitude when serving me. I am not speaking only of a specific incident but am taking a generalized approach because I feel like the experiences I have had has never met the most modest of expectations even after establishing a baseline from my earlier experiences. They consistently get our food wrong and the food is mediocre at best, especially the steak, never get the steak... I later asked to speak to a manager and one of the waitress said that she was the one to speak to because she had seniority. That may be so but unless she calls the shots and takes responsibility of how staff treats their customers or the quality of food presented to paying customers, I feel like she's speaking out of terms. Considering I've been going there consistently in the last 3 years and nothing has changed, I don't think I'm going to give them my business again. Hope...

After 2 years of lock downs and mandates we were finally able to go out to eat. The very first place we were excited to go back to for brunch was Brandts . We invited another couple to join us, as they had not been before. We ordered our usual, the eggs Benny as this was always our every weekend brunch order, along with a mimosa. We waited for close to an hour for our food, which we found odd as we have never had to wait that long there before, and it honestly wasn’t that busy when we arrived. The mimosas were horrible, tasted watered down. When our food arrived it was cold, the only thing hot was the “homestyle hash browns “ which were basically nugget potatoes with sea salt. Yes the server offered to re cook our food, but at this point we told her we were starving and not waiting another hour. We were beyond disappointed and embarrassed as we raved about Brandts to the couple that joined us. Needless to say they have lost customers that had been going...
