Quiznos — Restaurant in Kelowna

Every time I walk in here to supply my team with lunch I walk in positive, say hello with a smile. I would expect this back living in such a paradise as Kelowna. But I don’t. I get the worst service in town. The girls and boys that work at this Quiznos remind me of the “POP COPY” set from “The Chappelle Show”. If you’ve seen that skit the workers purposefully give horrible service, the business is not clean and their attitudes suck! Thats how I feel every time I go to this Quiznos. I have given them tons of chances to do better but they never do. Today I asked for pickles, super easy request for a person who makes sandwiches and gets paid to do that everyday. She forgot, I gave her a chance to remember, she didn’t so I said before she closed the sandwich you forgot pickles. I got a glare, then a frantic search for the pickles and a look under the cupboard below, sorry we are out. Okay I am thinking what about in the back refrigerator. No service skills what so ever! Their boss must be horrible for them to have this attitude every time clients walk in. This Quiznos is the “POP COPY” of Kelowna! Their motto is screw your sandwich! You are below me and don’t deserve sandwiches made...

I am quite furious with the Quiznos on Banks Rd in Kelowna. We went there Sunday and shared a 12" sub. While there, a woman came in and ordered a 9" sub and showed the staff a picture on her phone showing that it was "National Sandwich Day" at Quiznos and all 9" subs were selling for $5. There were no posters up to tell people. The only evidence of it was on the customers side of the cash register. A digital photo display that changes to ahow numerous Quiznos ads.. The staff wasn't happy about honoring the $5 sub, but the customer gently persisted. They said that the owner was away in California.... They eventually honored the deal. But they didn't tell any of the following customers....So i did....😀. I also told the staff that they were not honoring the Head Office's deal and that we would not be back to that Quiznos. Funny, about 7 years ago we used to go to a Quiznos on Pandosy St. The cash register was adding 50 cents onto the price of the subs... We mentioned it to them and yet, the next week when we went back, it was still...

If you hate your job so much, get a different one! I got there tonight and no one was there, I waited maybe 2 minutes then a young lady came out from the back slamming things around and snapped "what do you want?" And I said "I'm sorry?" She marginally softened her apparent hatred for life then I noticed she absolutely SMOTHERED the bread in sauce after I had said no sauce. My bad, I should have confirmed she heard me through her rage. She then aggressively threw out the bread and made a new one. I asked her if she was ok because she was clearly in the worst mood and she said something about the sauce and I said that she was clearly upset before I even ordered and she said it was family stuff and not her fault and I said it was not MY fault and she's in customer service. Absolutely appalling behavior. I don't care what's going on in your personal life, you treat every customer like gold OR you go work somewhere that doesn't have customers. ...
