2nd Update: (2yrs after last one 😆) while the frequency of our visits have slowed down, economy being what it is, we still aim for once a month or at least bi-monthly stopping in for IMHO very nearly best steak in town (sorry but my Brother-in-law grilling is my favorite 🤣). Came in on Halloween 2024, so much fun to see the crew all dressed up in costumes! Jeremy was our AWESOME server again. He's just a Rock Star! Always makes sure everything is PERFECT for us, even when I'm just happy to be there & not worried about little mistakes. 😉. Jeremy always goes over & above, remembering our names (we've been THAT much 😆) & asking after our kiddos. Thank you again for a wonderful, tasty & relaxing family meal!!

Update: it's been 3yrs since I originally posted a review...Montana's in Kelowna is STILL our top choice for a family dinner out. Jeremy, Jordan & recently Cam, CONSISTENTLY go well above & beyond for us. There is no other restaurant I've visited that has always been so warm & understanding about my dietary restrictions. Plus the meals are always amazing! I only ever order the steak but it's always tender, juicy & grilled to perfection. Our eldest is a "super-fan" (as she says) of the chicken tenders. My ex-husband & our youngest love trying out a variety of what's on the menu & I've only heard satisfied sighs & glowing praises from them.

If I had to find something negative to say, it would only be that I wish the steamed broccoli & cauliflower would come back on the menu LOL...

Been coming regularly bi-weekly for the last 2.5yrs with my ex-husband as a "family dinner" night with the kids. The food is almost always perfect, they have been EXCEPTIONALLY accommodating with my food allergies, but what really stands out are the amazing people who work there. Jordan, Jeremy & Jeff, plus their supervisor Keely have gone truly above & beyond every single time we come in. It quickly got to the point where I feel like I'm visiting family when we come...

First time at Montana's, and it was the advertised happy hour 2-5pm, but we were told that they didn't do HH at this Kelowna location by our server. She was still super friendly and good at recommending some menu items and keeping our glasses filled.

We ordered ribs with a choice of sauce that I don't remember, and a sirloin steak medium rare (big mistake) as it had no flavour and tasted rubbery. Don't order steak at a rib house! Lesson learned.

We tried to get a limited time offer free appetizer spinach dip by downloading and using the app for the first time. It seems the app coupon doesn't work right away, so the server tried to give us a family/friend coupon to make it free instead. But then it either didn't work because we were using a gift certificate to pay for part of our bill, or you have to wait a day or so to have the coupon appear in your email. It did. We can, however, apparently use the friend coupon she gave us next time. Spinach dip was the best!

The space does have some Yellowstone feels, but it's mostly a place for young families and older men who want to enjoy a rack of ribs in peace (not quiet). Not so great for a date, birthday, or special occasion. It'd be happier if they bring back happy hour to this location and...

Stopped in for a quick supper on a Tuesday evening. Place was quite busy so we opted to sit in the bar area. Once seated it was at least 10 mins before someone came over to take our drink orders. It also took a long time for our food to arrive however both meals were delicious so I’d rather wait for quality than get it fast and be of poor quality. I had the Mac and cheese. The pasta was perfectly cooked and not overly saucy with the cheese. Lots of bacon as well. Served in a ceramic fry pan so it stayed nice and hot while eating it. It came with a cornbread muffin which was tasty but too small. My friend had the pulled pork sandwich and gave it a 10/10. His fries were super fresh and hot. Will return in the future to try other items as menu was extensive and we were in a hurry to eat.

Returned October 2021, had yummy baby back ribs and burger. Ribs came with a cornbread muffin which was way smaller than I remembered. Service was friendly and attentive. Didn’t realize that they gave a discount for a BCAA membership...
