You replied to a post I made on a local Rant & Rave page when someone was asking for a good smash burger in Kelowna. I posted that I can't trust a restaurant to make a proper smash burger using fresh ground chuck. You replied saying you do and you do them right.

I didn't forget and gave you a try today. You were RIGHT. Only good smash burger I've had in Kelowna that I didn't make myself! Great job. I ordered a double and it was fantastic. Nice crusty top and bottom from Maillard reaction. Juicy inside and finished with perfectly melted american cheese. All veg were fresh with nice crisp to them and no wilted, brown lettuce like most places in town. And the bun looked fresh (I replaced with my own KETO bun).

Overall, great experience. Kudos. Only nit-picking would be a tad oversalted (and I love salt) and a tad under sauced. But those are trivial things that are personal taste. I'll make sure to put in comments when I order online next time. I'll be back when I feel too lazy to do my...

As the lucky winner in Jan. of their free food for a year - get $50 weekly, have been very pleased overall. Only dish didn’t care for (and I talked to them about it) is that the chicken waffle poutine would be better if the ingredients are separate and not muddled together. Love the smash burgers - have had both types and very keen on the mini perogies. Wish the chairs were different as can’t put purse or bag over the back, and the colour scheme of yellow/green seems slightly day care’ish.. But quite minor quibbles. Staff are lovely! First time in, loved it!!! New favourite restaurant! Incredible food. Great atmosphere. Happy staff who greet you on the way in, and ask how everything is, too. They were out of dill sauce but made it right away for us. Then gave us a coupon because it wasn’t ready. The signs around the store are hilarious. The pop is bottomless.
