Subcity Donair Baron road — Restaurant in Kelowna

Ordered it to my hotel. Skip driver went to the wrong hotel at first but it arrived still at a good temperature. The flavours were great but the meat was definitely dry and jerky like. Not fresh at all! Good thing it tasted good. Onion rings were 2 huge piles of connected together rings. There was like 5 separate. Not impressed with this for $21 and then with fees and tip. $30. Way too much for what this is. To be fair, in the pic, I’d already eaten 1/2 the donair. Still wasn’t that big though. I shall not return. Too many other good places for that price. No ketchup supplied for rings. No biggie but...

Love subcity and eat their donairs alot, today however I wasn't overly impressed. Had to go to bathroom, so told him love all veggies so load her up. Well when I got out of bathroom I couldn't believe this thing it was tiny. It hardly had any veggies on it, the wrap was almost double folded over, room for alot more veggies. I mean I could of eaten 4 of them that's how small it was to the toon of 20 bucks with a drink. Never hitting that location again....

I stopped in here for lunch today and ordered a regular sized donair with half chicken and half beef. It was just the right size for me and I have a good appetite. I usually order a footlong sub and I felt more full after this regular sized donair. The meat and sauces were really flavor filled and the veggies were crisp and fresh. It was a really delicious donair! And the gentleman making the sandwiches was friendly and helpful. Id come back here...
