I haven't been to Tim Horton's for a while now and today, I took my son there prior to his first day of school in a new town. I placed an order and when the food and coffee was given to me I realized I forgot to ask for milk. I asked the staff that took my order if I could have some milk. He abruptly said to me that I should have asked for milk when I placed my order and that they are very busy. I was taken aback with the comment but I did not wish to engaged with him so I walked away with my son. We sat on our table and started to eat our food. However, there were no napkins in the bag. My previous experience eating at Tim Horton's, staff generally will put a couple of napkins in the bag or ask if you would like some. I went back again to the same staff and asked for napkins and again he abruptly said to me that I should have asked for napkins when I ordered and that they are very busy. At this point I was getting upset. I asked him how does he expect customers to wipe their hands and mouth when eating. Another staff intervened and said that I should have asked for napkins when I placed my order and that I was rude. She was raising her voice and was very animated. Another person intervened and I am assuming that she was a supervisor as she said "never mind just keep taking orders"
My experience today at this restaurant was very upsetting. I was embarrassed in front of a restaurant full of people. However, the most upsetting thing is that I was embarrassed and talked down to in front of my 11 year old son. He was very confused by what was happening and asked why are they speaking to...
Read moreI went to Rutland's Tim Hortons around 2:30pm, tried to order FV, iced cup. and 2 croissant. Then I asked to have a cup of hot water with my order, the cashier said we charge for the hot water too. I said I always come to here to have my coffees and foods, it is the 1st time I have been told I need to be charge for a hot water with my orders. I said can you ask , then the female Indian cashier told me I am the manager and I am sure the hot water need to pay. Oaky, so I canceled my order. I know my order is very small to your store. It is not worth enough to kindly provide a hot water with, so need to be charged for it. Even it is a tiny small order to your store but it still need to use my hardworking money to pay it. So, save your hot water for sales and your values customer. I save my money and will spend it to the other store which would like to treat me as a values customer and would like to friendly provide a hot water with my orders. I still need to say "thank you " to your manager, she 'kindly' remind me the hot water need to be charged even I ordered coffees and foods at your store. So I will save my gas to not drive to your place anymore . Thanks for your store's "kindly service" today, anyway, I got my coffees, foods and hot water with my orders at the...
Read moreTwice now we've had very poor service from this location. Today I came through the drive- thru and was able to pull right up to the speaker-phone and order without waiting. I placed my order and drove up to the window to pay. Usually if I have to wait in line I try to get my wallet out beforehand to minimize wait times, but today there was no wait time so I was able to drive right up and didnt have my card out because I had been driving and didnt have to wait. After handing me my hot drink and food and taking my card back the woman at the window told me I should have my card out ahead of time and could I hurry up and leave. I told her I was not going to drive until my cup was in the cup holder and my food put somewhere securely and my card was put back in my wallet. I also told her that there was no time previously to get my card out as there was no line up. Asking people to drive with everything in their hand (especially me who was in a marked traffic safety vehicle) is irresponsible and dangerous. I understand they want to keep the drive thru moving, but shame on you TIM HORTONS for rushing your guests and asking them to do something illegal, like driving...
