I ordered my food online (3 rolls- California, Dynamite & Avocado). Arrived at the designated time. I was asked to wait 10min. I said no problem left/returned 15min later. I was asked again what I ordered. I repeated my order. Another person was there for a pickup order, her and I waited 50mins, a 3rd person arrived for a pickup order, he waited with us as well for 35mins. 1 order was double mine, the 2nd order was 4x mine. They both got their orders. I waited an hour for 3 rolls. They ignored me when I tried to ask how much longer, no refund, no offer of a discount. I stood their infront of seated customers in an open restaurant for an hr, looking like an idiot waiting for 3 rolls. The 1st customer to get her order after waiting 50mins before me knowing I ordered first said to the staff. "This is terrible that my larger order was after hers, I got first. This is also the FIRST TIME ALL 3 OF US HAVE BEEN HERE." She apologized to me, how sad is that. The gentleman who got his large order before me said, "At this point at least your order should be discounted if not free." NOPE, nothing,,,,I said to the staff just an apology and offer of a discount would have been enough. I would have been satisfied, and returned. I have NEVER reviewed a restaurant, but this was absolutely rediculous for 3...
Read moreScarily over priced. Cost over 100 dollars per person. We are just 2 regular size guys and all that’s left over was 3 skewers, so not overly much. The sushi are fresh and nice. However the skews are surprisingly over priced. Small potion as well. For the same amount of money you can have 2 very fancy dinners in town. I understand that source of food ingredients are expensive now, but take the Memphis blue smoke house or the Chinese restaurant called LVS as example, for 50 dollars per person or less we can get very fed up. And honestly, the food, although fresh and nice, they are not premium at all. So it is very hard to justify the price vs the quality vs the potion. Other than show off to a girl you just met just to prove you got the cash, I cannot see another...
Read moreMy wife and I had a wonderful impromptu date night here. Our server Ruth was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. We had the pork gyoza and spicy tuna roll to start. Really delicious. The gyoza wasn't greasy and had a nice crunch. We shared a beef bulgogi skewer, a salt and pepper pork belly skewer, and a chicken teriyaki skewer with two orders of fried onigiri (thick rice triangles). all of it was so good. I also ordered the garlic butter oyster mushroom skewer for myself which was really yummy. My favourite was the beef bulgogi though. We tried the Wa-style cocktail and thought it was a great signature drink. We will definitely be back for more impromptu date nights! Honourable mention to the...
