Most of our order was good, but I ordered one of my usuals, passionfruit tea lemonade quencher and what I got was something that resembles nothing of the ones I've ever ordered in the past. It's was a very dark yellow, almost orange and was bitter. I'm pretty sure they gave me passion fruit tea and forgot the lemonade. I'm a tea drinker on a regular basis - hot water and tea bag, and I leave the tea bag in until I'm done drinking it, but this was almost undrinkable. It completely dried out your tongue and mouth, then left a bitter after taste after you swallowed it, so it still stayed around to haunt you. My mistake was taking a great big gulp of it right away, even though it's colour looked questionable. I even jokingly said to my son, wow, they made this one strong....little did I know! I just went and looked on the app and looked up the store locations to order and saw that what I usually order isn't even available at this store?!?!?! Then why when I asked (because I didn't see it on the drive thru menu), if they still had the passionfruit tea lemonade quencher, would the person on drive thru answer with Yes we do, what size would you like? If you don't have it, say, you don't have it, don't say yes, then give me something completely different, hoping I won't notice. Most recently, I ordered a "Triple Triple," but what I received did not match the description in any way. There was no sugar in the drink, and it appeared to have only a single cream. This is not an isolated issue—it has happened multiple times, and it reflects a clear lack of attention to detail and consistency in preparation.
In addition, I ordered potato wedges and was appalled to find a hair in the food. This is completely unacceptable and a major hygiene violation. It strongly suggests that food safety protocols are not being followed properly.
As someone who has worked in the fast food industry, I understand that mistakes can happen. However, when such issues occur repeatedly, it shows a clear disregard for customers and their money. If staff members are not taking their roles seriously, it may be time for management to take corrective action or re-evaluate staffing decisions.
