Cheap, stingy, skinflint! We went for the 1st time at this Ben & Florentine, and what a upsetting experience! Other units of the chain might be good, as the food is in general, but we will never go back to this one, for sure. Unfortunately, the owner and the kitchen manager of this unit have proven to be in completely lack of sens of customer service. My partner ordered a vegetarian skillet, and myself, a Mexican skillet, which originally comes with chorizo, but I asked to have it vegetarian with and extra egg (extra cost, despite the meat exclusion). Then when the dishes arrived, we started eating, until I found out that they hadn't respected my request, but added the meat mixed in the middle of the skillet... We warned the waitress about the KITCHEN MISTAKE, and she took the plate back. Because my partner's dish was already not very hot, and she is pregnant, she had to eat her meal alone, while I waited for my dish to arrive for the 2nd time... When it arrived, we noticed the portion was significantly smaller, and had only 1 egg and not the extra one I ordered. We spontaneously thought then: oh, they forgot I asked for 2 eggs. I said I'd let the waitress know when the bill would arrive. Guess what??!! When time came, she responded that yes, they put only 1 egg because I had already eaten "some" of the ones of my first plate, and that the kitchen didn't even wanted to add any egg, but she said at least 1 egg they should put! At that point we grasped how cheap this restaurant is managed! From the very beginning, we asked to switch the toasts for something else, she said no way, not possible. I was paying originally for a full dish with meat, while saving them the meat, but still paying for the extra egg (normally, a client-inclined good restaurants would simply and willing replace meat for 1 (!!) egg). How did our meal turned out? We left insulted and offended as customers: besides their refusal to offer any replacements for the exclusions, my partner ate alone while I was awaiting for them to correct THEIR MISTAKE and cook a second dish--for which I had to pay extra request, while not having had it... Holy cow, with all that, the bare minimum they could have done to EXCUSE THEMSELVES for THEIR MISTAKE was to not economize on 1 egg!!! In a normal restaurant, a STAFF MISTAKE is usually apologized by offering the customer something extra, but we are far away from that in this...

I went there with my 7-year-old niece, and although the restaurant wasn't very busy, it took an excessively long time for a waitress to take our order. After we ordered, the wait for our food was even longer. I specifically asked for my niece's food to be brought out quickly to ensure she had a good experience, but it took so long that she was on the verge of tears from hunger. A small grilled cheese sandwich should not take that much time to prepare.

Additionally, I had to ask for every single thing, including water and coffee. This is not what I consider good service. The smoothie we ordered was tasteless; we could only manage one sip. The overall food quality could also be improved.

As someone who has worked in a restaurant before , I understand how things can get hectic, but for the success of your business , please ensure your waitstaff are...

Went there for breakfast after giving blood as I needed to eat. It was very long to get my order. A table of 3 guys came in after and ordered a little before me got their food and manage to eat their breakfast and literally leave before I got my ham and cheese crepe. I must have waited around 40 minutes from the time of ordering and getting my plate. And the place was not busy by any means. If the place would have been super busy I would have been more understanding but even there It does not justify the long wait. Manage to eat a couple of bites and had to ask for the bill and a take out container as I was already late for work. As for the food it was ok. Generic frozen potato, crepe warm not really hot but at this point it does not matter but the pulled ham was tasty. The waitress was nice but I do not think I...

Give me a piping hot old iron skillet that arrives with a warning to not touch the skillet because it’s hot! Understaffed, overworked and untrained staff. Corporate greed is very apparent. 100 bucks says the reply to this review will be a cookie-cutter response… and in French (not actually replying in the language of the review - as they did in other reviews) Get it together B&F.

They were out of "avocado smoothie" and the hot chocolate whipped cream tasted of chemicals. I tried the apple bacon eggs benny and it wasn't impressive, but there's the photo (nice garnish!) . It's an alright place. We also had to wait 10 minutes for the bill.. then more for him to come back so we could pay, we ended up leaving the money on the table it took so long. (2 pm on a Friday)

It was okay, I found myself waiting 5 minutes to be seated (no one said hello) in an empty restaurant, but we got a booth so that was nice. We had to ask for water. They were out of "avocado smoothie" and the hot chocolate whipped cream tasted of chemicals. I tried the apple bacon eggs benny and it wasn't impressive, but there's the photo (nice garnish!) . It's an alright place. We also had to wait 10 minutes for the bill.. then more for him to come back so we could pay, we ended up leaving the money on the table it took so long. (2 pm on a Friday)
