This past week I’ve been going to Boustan Kirkland almost every day, and I have to say—the food has tremendously improved! The beef and chicken shawarma are cooked to perfection and cut so beautifully into the plate. The meat is incredibly juicy and tender—it literally melts in your mouth.
The potatoes also stood out—they’re cooked in a way that gives you that satisfying crunch with every bite. The avocados were a pleasant surprise too: served in neat, medium-sized portions with a drizzle of avocado sauce on top—so flavorful and delicious.
Portions are always generous, and the plates are presented with care—colorful, neat, and inviting. But what makes the experience even better is the warm welcome. Every visit comes with a big smile and a genuine greeting, which means so much when dining out.
I noticed the new Egyptian ownership, and I can truly see the fresh touch they’re bringing—especially in how the proteins are prepared and served. Read moreTried to order online it did not work. I tried few times. I called the store the girl said I could ordre by phone. She started by taking my phone number and the adress and than she said I'll be back in a second. She kept me on hold 20minutes and she hang up. I was calling from work! I called again. She said yes we're busy , no sorry, nothing. Again she said hold on 2 sec. I waited another 10mn and I hang up. I calld and asked for the manager. She suddunly had time to listen and said she can t pass him he is busy. I asked if busyis serving customers, I am one! She took my order with so many mistakes making me repeat so many times. I told her I am ordering for someone else and I want to pay with my card. She said ok and she hang up without taking the card number! I called her and explained again what I wanted. She took the card number, never my name or expiry date... and said I ll ask the manager, and hang up! Obviously no delivery was made! I called an hour later and she said we can t make a payment by phone! I aked why she didn t call me and of course she said she called twice and there was no answer!!! No...

I made an order for pickup by phone, 2 sandwiches. When i started eating, i realized they got the order wrong. I went back inside to let them know & they kindly made me a new sandwich. They said that for my old sandwich, I can “give it to my dog or feed it to the birds outside.” (I wasn’t sure if this was their way of being funny). When my order was ready, instead of them kindly letting me know, all you hear is “YO LADY, YO LADY, YO LADY” across the restaurant. I went back to my car and realized that my sandwich was cold. I called them and asked if it was possible for them to toast it some more and the cashier put me on hold. After about 3-4 minutes of being on hold, I just went back inside and they told me that can’t reheat it, but they made me another sandwich. It was still nice of them to make me another sandwich, but at this point, i’ve lost my appetite.
