Was in the area so decided to stop by due to the rave reviews and high ratings.

Tom Yum Soup: 0/5

I’m the type of person that will gladly enjoy a Tim Horton’s chicken noodle soup and I’ve never met a soup I didn’t like, until today.

The poster below is correct. The soup was inedible. It was basically just salt and water.

Tom Yum Soup is a complex soup with tremendous depth of flavour when done right. If it can’t be done right, then it should be removed from the menu.

I ordered the veggie Tom yum and it was very low on veggies.

Lollipop chicken: 4/5

Nice batter, nicely salted and crispy. The sauce was a cold goopy grocery store version of what I assume should taste like mint chutney.

Hakka Chow Mein (shrimp and chicken): 3/5

Again very small amounts of chicken and shrimp. Noodles were nice and not too greasy.

Service: 0/5

No greeting, no water until we asked and no follow up’s to ensure we were satisfied.

Ambience 1/5

The music is somehow even worse than the soup but the seating is good and bathrooms are not great.

Overall if you’re in the area and starving like we were then it might be worth trying takeout. My five year...

We arrived at the restaurant at 10:15, just before its closing time at 11. However, upon reaching the restaurant, we found ourselves waiting for approximately 5 minutes until a staff member finally attended to us and showed us to a table. Once we were seated, we had to wait an additional 10 minutes before our server approached us. To our surprise, the server requested that we leave the premises, explaining that they were unable to serve us since the kitchen had closed. Nevertheless, they offered to take our order for takeout, emphasizing that we couldn't dine inside the restaurant. When I pointed out that ordering for takeout essentially meant the kitchen was still open, the server reluctantly agreed, but mentioned that they needed to clean the premises, and therefore we had to leave. This experience left us astounded and was undoubtedly the worst customer service we have ever encountered. They don’t respect people here and I would advise people to never come here. WORST PLACE AND WORST...

Normally, I refrain from leaving negative reviews because I understand that mistakes can happen. However, how a business responds to those mistakes speaks volumes. In this case, I ordered Manchurian Hakka Noodles at 9:30 pm, but the Manchurian was missing from my order upon delivery. I promptly contacted the restaurant, but received no response, which was understandable given the late hour (10:15 pm). The next morning, I called again and spoke to someone who promised to check with the chef, call me back, and send a replacement order if my claim was valid. I agreed to wait patiently, but unfortunately, no one reached out to me. When I called again in the evening and explained the situation once more, instead of addressing the missing item or offering an apology, they stated that I would need to inform them during my next order so they could send the missing item then. This response felt absurd since I shouldn't have to place another order just to receive what was missing from my...

Hakka restaurant that is worth a try. This was our first time and dine-in dinner. The overall rating would be 4 as we liked their food and it was good but it was not great. We tried Hakka cuisines - Tandoori Momo's - 4/5 Veg Manchow soup - 4.5/5 Hakka Noodles - 4/5 Veg Manchurian - 4/5 The food was served in time. We didn't have to wait for long. The lady serving us was amazing, great service. We have had better Tandoori Momo's around tri-city area. As this restaurant is located in a plaza, there are ample parking spots. However, not able to locate handicapped accessible parking closer to the restaurant. The prices were not really high and we would recommend their meal options for 1 or 2 or more ppl. That is more value for money. They have 2 washrooms and both were very clean. One of the washroom is handicapped accessible. They have lots of space for dine-in. We really liked their ambiance, it gives very cozy vibes coz of the lighting. All in all, it's definitely worth trying once.

I recently ordered takeout from Indo Hakka Corner in Kitchener after coming across its positive reviews online. The restaurant provides a decent experience, and while the food was satisfactory, I did not find it to be particularly exceptional. Having tried Hakka cuisine at other restaurants in Brampton, I felt that the flavours here did not quite measure up to that standard. One area for improvement is the chicken lollipops, which I found to be on the drier side. It may be beneficial if the restaurant provided customers with the option of light or thick gravy, as this could greatly enhance the dish’s overall taste and texture. Overall, Indo Hakka Corner is a reasonable option for Hakka food in Kitchener, and convenient for takeout, but in my opinion, there is room to elevate the flavours to match some of the stronger Hakka dining experiences available elsewhere.

I wrote a very good review and gave 5 stars for about a year ago, I changed my rating to a Star because of the following reason: Ordered a bundle of family of 4, among that the veg Manchurian was disgusting, I know it's food and it was one of my fav from this place but t he last few times I had food from here the food is now very inconsistent but changing my review coz the Manchurian today was ruined (was smelly and when chewing it was slimy in the mouth) which was very unpleasant feeling. The fried rice had dripping oil in it and can taste burned oil in it I mentioned would visit often now it's probably gonna change to not gonna visit again I guess Please save yourself and try some other Hakka restaurant around the town
